I reckon Ivan should host this. His wind up schtick is very entertaining. I like him.

He's not the worst (I can't decide whether that honour goes to George Hook or Tom McGuirk).

Ya, Ireland needs more left wing populist dreamers to steer us out of our economic predicaments.

Would those be the same economic predicaments that boorish, right-wing, middle-aged men got us into? :)

We all get lonely sometimes, but I like to think we LLS thread regulars are, ahem, 'True Friends'.

Take it away, Mr. Fish

Honestly, that tune gets a 10 from me.

It would be interesting to see him manage a Championship mid table team to see how he would get on or perhaps put him in the deep end with a basket case like Leeds United.

Isn't it strange how much things can change in a few months? There was a time I'd be dreading Friday night's offerings and I'd be looking forward to Brendan and the SNS.

Now, I'm look forward to Friday nights and I hate Saturdays. Ray is making Tubs look like a pro :(

Well MrsD007, I do hope that the people who post here regularly and can appreciate good TV when they see it, don't bend to the desperate Saturday night offering and cave in to even lower standards that we're being served up by our National station after we've paid our TV licence fee and maintain high standards of critique and parody. I know i may have over-stepped the mark with the turkey photos on 1st episode - but really, my motivation is simply to push for better TV so yes, I agree with your above sentiment. :)

Mary and Jim's books have something in common. I wouldn't buy either of them.

    A great man, I think.

Was at that infamous game against Dublin - finished 2-1 or something. Couldn't believe the negativity they got for shutting that Dubs team down (nearly).
