The An Post "issue" reminds me of how much of a fookin basket case ****hole this country was during the 80's and how unions destroyed the place.

gawd, it's not that bad. loads and loads of success stories, and good good working careers withougt being a frankie Detori or whoever. Typical horror stories on the late late

You run the risk of becoming badly injured, paraplegic, or worse, dead are there every time you go onto the track. Fúck the success, the dangers are there for all to see. I can understand how lads can get the addiction to it and the adrenaline rush and yes there is field sports where things can go wrong (scrum collapses in rugby being one example) but I would honestly believe that jump jockeying along with motorsport is amongst the most dangerous games out there.

AP Mccoy has achieved loads on the racing track but also suffered broken vertebrae and he is one of the lucky ones. Not sure the whole aspect of having to dehydrate yourself to make the weight appeals to me either.

Not too bad a show I suppose .. even Panti as himself was not too bad! Very little music apart from that African-Celtic fusion song for Eircom?

Now, let's see what Ray D. has!

No leaks of who he has on so far, usually a bad sign.

I only use Parcel Motel when I'm desperate to receive something that can't be shipped directly to Ireland. They lost two of my parcels last year, I also had parcels that were checked into their NI depot but took weeks to be dispatched to my local Parcel Depot. I was compensated each time but their customer service was poor enough overall.

    Howdy, gang!

Missed last night's show, as I was in swinging London getting thrown out of every bar in Soho taking in the culture.

Couldn't resist checking in on the thread when I could :o

    Some Gremlins were at work...

I thought it was just me, and an attempt to remove non-Irish people from boards...post a message, yet am about two pages behind even when refreshing. It's a disgrace, Joe

  • Registered Users Posts: 72,411 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

So it's not just me then, or is it just this thread?

Refreshing takes you back two pages :(

No WM, happend on the AusvEng rugby thread too.
Very frustrating. You comments should be quoted here too, but are not.

It's the best place in the world, isn't it? If I even walk into Hank's - it's the one with 4 floors of guitars - I instantly start sweating.
