I actually finished Gerrard's book last night. It's a decent enough read, interesting to read about the last few seasons. Rodgers comes out of it very well, but so too does Hodgson so whatever.

Jesus, Gerrard loves talking about how great he his and how much the fans love him. I mean, it's true an all but he hasn't a bother saying it.

He's also a bit of a Captain Hindsight. When he's talking about defeats or when things went wrong, it's either somebody else's fault or he talks about how he wouldn't have set up this way or that that should have been done differently etc.

In fairness the I'm great stuff is just filler by the ghost writer, can't imagine him repeating that during the conversations.

You gotta love Herr Klopp just wandering around the place laughing his head off. Gas man. Good for morale

I'll be very, very impressed if he gets a win after having only a few days with the squad to implement any kind of system, enough to beat Spurs. I'll not expecting anything at all. There's always 2nd of April ;)

If he plays people in their right positions then he has a chance. I'm expecting a performance bounce that can happen as players want to impress the new manager.

Did people know that Gerrard had a new book out? He's been very quiet about it.

I won't be able to stand him soon, taking the standard post career chilli and rice english player trajectory.

    das ist ein team gentlemen

typically they use the same person in a given country for a given actor.

    1. Easy money
    2. Imagine being able to say 'yeah I'm the german Al Pachino'

    On any given Sunday.

But that IS Al Pacino. He's that good.

I see City have posted a £10M profit from last season - http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34531770

I know people will say who cares - but the fact that our four major rivals are now all profit-making self-sustaining entities means we simply can't wait for the likes of Roman to just walk away from the club expecting the whole thing to collapse without them.

Worst case scenario system is get ball to Sturridge via Coutinho :)

Photos dont show much, looks like he's all about sizing up who he has to work with.

This might explain another summer signing.
It is known that Dortmund, throughout Klopp's final two years at the club, were alert to Gomez's emergence at Charlton. They would, had Liverpool not come calling, have firmed up their interest back in the summer.

Horrible news, hopefully that doesn't effect his pace when he gets back.

Gutted for Gomez, our young players always fall through the cracks after their injuries (Flanagan, Yesil)

Im hoping he can make a comeback.

    BBC confirmed it.

Southgate originally down played it, just typical.
