Just wakening up after a whirlwind of match .

Well Carlsberg don't do Mayo days but if they did it would probably have been yesterday .

That's the fibre in the diet that Mayo needs . Winning.

A great win yesterday. Felt there wasn't much in it but as it has been said, goals win matches.

It was an All Ireland title that was snatched from no where.

I hope these lads enjoy the celebrations but don't lose the run of themselves, they've more titles to win in the years to come - lets hope they're smart enough to realise it.

I do feel sorry for the Cork keeper, not in a patronising way, I just hate to see a young lad like that carry the can for a defeat. Great win by a team that has such huge self belief and it's encouraging to see how many are U21 next year again. Mighty atmosphere in a tight ground with a lovely pitch, it's fast becoming my favourite ground. It also helped heal the wounds of driving that same road home in 2014 with such a heavy heart.....

Ah now, no need to be bitter there. The ref in that game missed stonewall frees he should have given Mayo but didn't in that game too. Dublin got plenty of soft calls in their favour, probably many more than Mayo got on the same day.

Aside from that, great win and some heart shown by these lads. I do feel for the Cork keeper, but I've seen cases where those types of errors haven't been punished by Mayo teams in the past.

Shocking number of wides for the number points scored. Took all the goal chances though. Plenty of leaders on that team. The future is bright.

Unreal win..On Mayo day and all! Seriously what imbecile came up with "Mayo Day", my Mayo workmates nearly died of embarrassment when they seen it.

On the football, looked a very solid team with very few weak links. Thought they showed maturity towards the end, finding ways to deal with Corks main threat, the FF, and cleverly keeping possession.

Mayo won by 4 according to a poster on Mayogaablog. Very experimental line up with a lot of fringe players getting a run, particularly Castlebar lads who haven't had much or any intercounty game time this year. Possibly a last chance for some of the panel if the stories of six of the All Ireland winning under 21s getting called up/staying on for championship are true. There won't be room for everyone this summer and if we're being honest it's easy to pick out 5 or 6 who aren't really at the standard needed and might be cut.

Wouldn't surprise me. A gang of 20/21 year old lads with presumably a load of drink on them has rarely been anything other than messy.

Depends on what they're meant to have done, no excuse for acting the bollocks..All-Ireland title or not.

I don't think there's an excuse for it, it just simply wouldn't surprise me given the age group and that there was more than likely drink involved.

I know what you're saying. It's a bit pointless speculating when it's only rumour and hearsay but hopefully they didn't let themselves down.

Also they deserve to celebrate this title but I hope they keep grounded in the next few weeks/months and keep focused for the future.

Ah now, let's face it there are too many around the county with a bad word to say about players when they let their hair down, or get quoted in a newspaper.

Unless they did something farcical altogether then let's leave out the speculation and let these lads celebrate their achievement.

Yes I'm not sure if this is a subject that merits mention without little more than hearsay as a source for the alleged story.

That's fair enough, unless something concrete comes out then they deserve any benefit of the doubt. They were a credit to us on Saturday and hopefully will be for years to come!

This group of players have shown an ability to take a chance when it presents itself. That's the type of mentality Mayo need if they want to win Sam.

Interesting that Mickey Conroy got a run, thought his days were over, maybe not, could be a decent impact sub if required.
