Maybe local streaming can take onboard all those matches at U21 and Fbd.
Same three personel would be perfect Adrian Hession, Anthony Jordan (get him on Midwest please) and Frank Flynn.

I think they can only broadcast from where there's good broadband connection. They could be restricted enough at moment from where they can stream from. Brilliant service though! Anyone with a 4g unlimited data in good coverage could also broadcast on periscope!

Also won by 1-11 to 0-08! Anyway they won :D Very poor reports from the match, lucky to get the score! Sharioze Akram was the goal scorer I think.

We're off again. Looking forward to seeing how Caolan Crowe and Shane Nally get on. Both have potential to add a bit of rangey height to our half backline. Great to hear of Sharoize Akram and Fionan Duffy showing well yesterday.

Hoping that the seasoned campaigners don't start,an awful lot of rain last night but it's quite pleasant now.Lots of buckets of sand as I imagine the pitch will cut up quite badly as usual.

Decent and enjoyable first half, really liking the look of Shane Nally.Conor Loftus looks a real prospect,Padraig O Hora is pretty lively.
    Mayo 6 NUIG 7

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,530 ✭✭✭davegrohl48

    Mayo 1-12 NUIG 1-10.
Adam Gallagher played well for NUIG.
Shane Nally and Padraig OHora did well. Hopefully they can follow up with performance to increase options in the backline.
Conor OShea quiet for NUIG it has to be said.

    Mayo 1-12 NUIG 1-10

Good second half showing by Conor O Shea,Adam Gallagher showed why he was a much lauded prospect in the recent past before he went off injured.

Tom Parsons and Jason Gibbons much as expected are a very good midfield partnership, hopefully Jason's injury is'nt anything too serious.Much quieter second half from Conor Loftus.

Great to see the hunger for action exemplified by Keith Higgins.

Shane Nally looks very promising. I expect to see more of him.

Jason Gibbons looked to have taken a knock on the knee. Hopefully not too serious, though he did look to be quite sore coming off.

Kevin McLoughlin provided that vital bit of experience to work alongside some of the newer lads and looked to be working quite hard.

Thought Conor Loftus looked a wee bit tired in the second half, but I expect we'll see more of him.

Excellent article offering an honest insight into the career of our own Aidan O Shea, discusses the stresses around the change of management.

What's the problem? Is it to do with UUJ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,148 ✭✭✭PressRun

He was playing with UUJ in their last match, I believe.

Yeah, that's what I thought. He's named on the squad for Sunday, maybe a typo?

I'm also hearing match next week in Ballinglough is being moved to the Hyde

Nearly be happier,Ballinlough is an absolute nightmare of a place to get in and out of!We'll be getting very used of playing Roscommon.

That's got to be a typo re Evan Regan...

Sweeney is handy enough IMO. Worth a good run won't tackle like the other lads but he is nippy, I think he'd play well off AOS.

Is there an actual rule that means a player playing for a college in another province cant play for his county in his own province?

UUJ are playing Saturday evening. Mayo playing Sunday. So if the rules did not prevent it, it could be that it is not a typo (although it would be crazy for him to be playing in both matches).

The rule was that if a players college team were competing in a winter competition, they must he released to the college for games.

what time is game on sunday, meself and the aul lad were one of the stragglers the last day. :(
we got in and nuig were 3 up already!

Out of all the players I saw I was really impressed with nuigs Midfielder cooke. great tackler, nice shooting, not afraid to get stuck in.
one to watch for the future.... unfortunately it will be galways future.
