Her father is about to burst into tears

I was screaming at the camera man to let the poor man alone :(

Seriously though, if you were in an show which basically asks you to tell you about yourself would you ignore your mother who passed away last year or your late sister. I dont understand the reaction here. I lost my mam years ago and I certainly wouldnt forget her in such a situation.

    Ah now....

I'm robbing that sad music and chucking it in the river....

I'd be chucked out of that tent no doubt...

I'm still backing my 3 and a half ladies from last night plus the Louth lady from tonight for the session!

Fair point. But I can't help feel that the sadness is being exploited.

I love learning stuff from the women posters about how they've fecked up their necklaces and dresses.

I'll meet you there. I remarked at work today that the rose production team have been heavily influenced by X factor drama.

You get the high stool at the top of the bar Lisha!...:D:D:D

    I wont respond to that.

There are certain things that the producers would dig out for the awww factor but death with close family members when describing your life isnt one of them.

Ill give you the benefit of the doubt thats not what you meant though!

I most certainly understand your point TB but, tbh, it's getting a bit like my sad story is better than your sad story....

Look at past ROT's and they always pointed on the positive side of their lives, now it - personally - looks to me like the sad story (and I think we all have them) nearly turns into a competition....

    Just my opinion!

Telling people how many countries you have been to is a bit like telling people how many rides you have had. We don't need to know.
Haven't seen them all but I have backed Boston and New England rose and also the NZ one, who is the rank outsider on PP.

maybe her mother was a positive part of her life? One that influenced her as a person.... Just maybe!

Would there be an equivalent of Coppers in Tralee for a session afterwards?

    Possibly not here...

Her dress is really nice, but again I'm not likeing the necklace.

Would the girls not know what type of jewellery they have to wear before the pick their dress?.....

I'm fierce picky about necklaces....as you can see no doubt...

My husband isn't watching, but I keep shouting 'ffs not another poem' so he has just commented that it seems to be a particularly talentless bunch this year.

Oh for sure, no doubt about that, but we are talking overall of all the sad stories over the last two nights not just about this lady's story in general..
