Oh the waving. My cringe-o-meter just exploded.

Yeah. And if you don't wave..you're out.

    "strong" is the appropriate term.

I was called "stout" by my Aunt when I was younger (can't say smaller)!

There is a mad Cleopatra theme going on with the Newbridge cutlery necklaces...

New bridge have an utterly gorgeous range of earrings this year, so much nicer that those rotten chunky necklaces
The first one is divine and really impressive on.

    This is truly appalling television.

hate to say it but high ratio of chunky women this year

    *ducks head*

    Chunky is too harsh.

I believe the correct politically correct phrase is "a fine a pair of child bearing hips". :P

I'm delighted. I can't see why any one would wear a rotten necklace that ruins a good dress when they could have fab earrings. :)

    "She is all there alright"

I'm betting this years winner will be a teacher with an interest in the GAA who does a bit of charity work on the side and is a person of deep faith which has been a big help in helping her get over the death of her parent........

Unlike that modern lesbian sexy jezebel who won last year.

Funny but hopefully not (too) true!

Maria was some Rose of Tralee. I respect the RoT so much more now after watching Maria's reign.

Only following programme on boards, but if memory serves me correctly boards was fairly accurate in picking last years winner.

    Did Daithi say, "retarded"?

I never got the whole 'Finn McCool builds a bridge to fight his enemy overseas' story to explain the Giant's Causeway. I could never understand why he didn't just sail over there. The fact he is meant to be the smartest guy in Ireland makes it even more worrying.

I think last year's winner was much more clear. This year most of them are equally dull.
