Ok on the basis that we sack David instantly ( it's really strange, he never normally sell anything!! :p) How would you like a Sony KDL32W705, demo unit but excellent condition - bit more expensive but part of the new range from Sony / Current model and I'd reduce it from €469 to €389 inc. shipping and a shiny 6 year warranty
    warranty

    Keep us posted,

    ATVB,

    John Mc & Crew

Someone should take that offer John, I've a 48 & 32 currently going strong so no need for now. Any other small combi? Bedroom tv/dvd for an elderly person, thanks

    Hey BLUEYK.

    It would indeed.

We had it running in store for a while before we boxed it back up and it does sound well.

Cheers Kenny. Hold that for me so, I'll keep browsing for now, thanks

    Hey Gilly-09.

Didn't see this above the TV post.

Just noticing that John put play 5 in the description and the link for the 3. The product on offer is the 3 and not the 5.

Let me know if its the 3 you are after. Apologies for the mix up.

    Hi Kenny,

Just drop me a PM and we can get sorted

    Thanks

Can I put my name provisionally on item #7 please
Yamaha YHT1810 – AV Receiver with 5.1 speaker package

    Two questions :
Does it come with mounting brackets for the speakers?
I presume there is an Aux input for ipod connection?

Will confirm purchase or withdraw interest later this evening if that's ok
    Hi Johnny_adidas.

No problem will put a temp hold on it for you.

It does have an aux for an ipod and the bracket are built into the speaker for hanging on the wall.

Great timing; I've just moved into a new house!

I'm no audiophile and to be honest the list is a bit bewildering but I'd love to get a soundbar (I think) that will improve the sound off my tv but can also be used as a speaker (via bluetooth or wifi) for my (Android - just in case it makes any difference) phone to stream radio/spotify etc.

    Can you recommend something?

I'd love to be picking a new tv aswell but can't spring for it right now. Cheers!

    Hi Rowley Birkin QC.

A soundbar would improve the sound from your TV with no issue.

The Q Acoustics Media 4 is an excellent soundbar number 25.

So is the Monitor Audio ASB2 we have listed at number 27.

There is the Yamaha YAS203 also which has the features required at number 22.

Let me know if any of these would suit.

22 looks like a winner. Sorry if this is a silly question but I would also want to connect up an Xbox One to the soundbar, easily done?

    Number 42, monitor pc speakers.

I'll take these, am I correct in thinking these are probably some of the best pc speakers I can get for that money, they don't need to be wireless just wondering would I be better off with something else?

    Hey Rowley.

You could connect the X-Box via optical connection or keep it connected to your TV and run the optical from the TV to the soundbar. Provided your TV has an optical.
If not you can still use the normal 2 phono.

If you want to go for 22 drop me your contact in a PM and we'll give you a shout.

    Hey Drunkmonkey.

For the money I would say there would be no better PC speaker out there I can think off. We have used them before in store and they sound fantastic.

They would be the only type of PC speaker that we would have stocked without going down the route of amp and speakers.

Let me know if you would like to go for them.

    Guys,

We have several Boardies who have 'reserved' several items and either not emailed us their details or said - 'we want to reserve it and check it out later tonight / over the weekend' etc - that's not really fair to other boardies..

..we will happily hold kit for around an hour - to give you a chance to mail us, after that we will re-release the reserved items - as per the OP - there is no risk, if you reserve it and purchase it, get it home, don't like it -just send it back to us within 14 days and we will refund it!

    Thanks as ever guys,

    ATVB,

    John Mc & Crew
