I've no choice after Adrian's red card. I already had some surgery scheduled but now my team is in very bad shape.

    Wildcard activated.

Lad's, I'm considering using the wildcard, it could be madness not to wait another 2 or 3 weeks

On one hand I'd like to keep the wildcard, but given that we only have 16 weeks now to use it, I'm not sure there'll be a better time to use it to take advantage of price increases in players which are scoring well. If Kane is injured ill probably play it.

    13.6 ITB at present.
    Rise rise rise.

City & Pool CS's along with Arsenal & Chelsea blanks would add more fuel to a roaring fire.
Wouldn't say no to Yaya, Silva & Aguero going daft either.
I'll be disappointed if I don't cash in on 6 players.

So many players going to rise 0.2 this week.
Gonna be a lot of highly owned players dropping.
WC's seem to be counting for price changes.

It's turning into a non brainer for me to use it. Would expect to make 0.6 profit. Gonna have to do it today to avail of the first few 0.1s

Ah. So I'm not the only one. Just posted pretty much the same thing in the general thread!

Looks like this might be happening so. Gaining 0.5 or 0.6 in short term team value could be huge in eventually fitting Hazard, Sanchez, Aguero et al.

Oh it's happening. It has happened.
Have my team of risers already in.

I've my wildcard activated too so no turning back, pity I didn't use it last night and save the drop I took on Walcott.

    Gomis, Albrighton and who else?

Page I'm seeing doesn't have any more near rising.

Payet on 91.5 and scored today. Cert for 0.2, although he's a keeper imo.

Yeah agreed though had him since the start ( a little boast).

I'd a four week plan at the beginning, then it all started to fall apart.
Then my head dropped low, the tears looked to flow, I couldn't have had a worse start.
With my points so few, the urges grew, I had that feeling that really just itches.
I could hear it grow near, CHOO CHOO I'm here, it's time, It's

90% Sure I'm wildcarding this week.

Unless someone can see any hope for these chaps going forward.

    GK
Ruddy-Hennessey (Ruddy in for Courtois after last week's red)

    Def:
    Bellerin, Cedric, Huth
(Targett, Taylor: 4.0 bench fodder thought they were most likrly to get early gametime)

    MF:
    Silva, Hazard, Mane, Walcott, Bentaleb

    For
    Defoe, Benteke, Rooney

    1.0 ITB

    Really only happy with
Ruddy, Huth, Silva, Hazard and Defoe/Benteke (as 3rd Striker) long term

so can anyone see the benefit of going on as I stand without major surgery?

Even at that I'd probably still ship Huth for a premium Def and Hazard for Costa when I WC

I'd say the most likely are

Mahrez, Albrighton, Barkley, Gomis, Ayew, Shaw, Darmian, Romero and Payet.
If Gomez starts again for pool he'll probably rise again too.

Yip, that's the chunk of them. Lukaku or Kone could get close too. And some city players if they have another good score tomorrow. Liverpool as well but less time for them.

It's basically just the dream team.

No Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City or Arsenal midfielders or forwards.....this is why you don't wildcard after 1 and half gameweeks.

Different strategy. Get as many potential price risers in. Hope a good few rise twice and them get them out before the WC ends pocketing 0.1 profit.

Looks like you should get a couple of .2s there I would think. Did you fire her up last night before a few of those risers?

Unfortunately not. It would have been the right idea though

Yeh important to WC as soon as the deadline passes still not too much damage done though should still add a net .4/.5 I would think.

Yeah. Haven't actually popped the transfers yet. Gonna stew on it for the evening

Any opinions on this fixing this mess without a WC before I pull the trigger?

Seen Courtois touted to drop on the price change thread, could counteract the 0.1 I lost on Walcott if I got him in after a drop.

So caved to the pressure and now my WC is active. Thoughts please. Main issue is whether to keep fabregas, Sanchez, benteke or go with another combo to get hazard back and upgrade saylor to a playing 4.5.. 2 in the bank..

    Myhill, but land
Ward, alder, huth, Richards, s Taylor
    Sanchez fabregas payet Mahrez cabaye
    Aguero benteke Gomis

Impossible to foresee it happening last night imo. Ayew is the only one we missed out on. I have him in as I'll probably be keeping him post WC.

Played mine anyway. Usually prefer to wait until the international break, but have to get in early. Would have been taking a -4 to get Aguero in anyway, but Ayew and Gomis are looking too good to leave out of team, and could be some nice rises for a lot of players this week and next.
