Nope I get what one is saying, But one cannot say the entire Obese community have mental health issues. That's beyond Ridiculous.

There isn't just one mental illness that correlates to obese people though. Nobody said all obese people are mentally ill. SOME are. And what we were discussing was obese people who had a delusion that their weight is healthy and fine. Sane people know full well that if they're obese, they're risking their health.

But codding yourself is completely different to being delusional. The vast majority are not Delusional they are in at best A river in Egypt.

But we were talking about the few who DO genuinely believe it. Not all obese people. Not all obese people have mental health problems.

Anorexia is a mental illness, obesity is not. Cases of Anorexia are extremely rare, cases of Obesity are extremely common.

Nobody is saying obesity is a mental health problem.

What's been said is that SOME obese people have mental health issues. Same as how SOME healthy weight people have mental health issues.

The original wonderbra model? Damn, what happened her?

She discovered that wearing dresses made from tin foil, halts the aging process.. by the looks of it:

But this is about nudity in general, not the objectification of the female form. Nudity is banned from anything (and always has been) not just Instagram; it's a more conservative stance, not a liberal one. Bringing "PC" into this is utterly bizarre and indicates not really knowing whom you're blaming for the SJW stuff anymore.

What I have said is it comes from the same cultura infection...puritanism. I didn't say it was the same thing...McCarthyism is not the same as PC but it does come from the same paranoid controlling moral policing...as does American nudiphobia.

And objecting to pornography and nudity does absolutely come from a leftist stance, a feminist leftist stance which of course has puritantical streaks.

Since when is "nudiphobia" an American thing?

Ignoring the incredible mental loop holes and leaps of faith involved in squeezing 'feminist leftist' and 'puritanical' into the same sentence for a moment (fantastic work, by the way), I think it's odd that you consider China and almost the entire of the Middle East and North Africa to be leftist, feminist nations.

Because those are places where pornography (as opposed to nudity, which is what you initially brought up but with all the scrambling to shift goalposts every which way, who's really counting?) is actually illegal, unlike America.

Feminism has always had puritanical streaks, how is this not obvious to you?

The US produces massive amounts of pornography but the laws are incredibly complex. Im doubtful about the laws in the other states. The Supreme Court also locked themselves away for 8 days to try to figure out what defines pornography.

Have you seen the rules and regulations of the FCC? Wouldnt suprise me if the internet ended up under their control one day.

The US is very nudophobic and this stuff coming out of Instagram is to clamp down on nudity no? Isn't that what they are saying? Pornography is the bi product of that repression, that is why we have so much of it. And femiists are always complaining about porn and the objectification of womens' bodies.

In what other country, other than Saudi Arabia would there be a national freak out over a nipple showing during the super bowl? Seriously.....

In what other country does taking a leak within 400 meters of a child,- even if the child doesn't see you- land you on the sex offenders registry?

It could be to do with a number of things, just as discussed on this thread. How come they banned #curvy, but not #bikini, or #beachbod or whatnot, or even #humpday which is a glorified excuse for women with nice asses to put selfies of said asses online every week?
In what other country, other than Saudi Arabia would there be a national freak out over a nipple showing during the super bowl? Seriously.....
So you are trying to tell me that if Shakira got her boobs out in the WC Final closing show last year, there would be no controversy? Let's just say, we are going to need to disagree there - and that was in Brazil!

Now, we can start with any of those countries making up almost the entirety of the middle east and north Africa, as well as likely China. Why? Because pornography is illegal in these countries. Full stop. Can we assume you consider these countries 'feminist and liberal'? Because if you don't, your argument has some major holes in it.

Evidence, please. I find it hard to believe that someone would be on the sex offenders register for using a public bathroom.

    "Lol #curvy"
And any #tags related to it vainly mean 'im fat and know it, so feck off.i don't care about my image or anyones perceptions of me as i have a #tag to prove it'
Imo, curvy should be autocorrected to bbw so a fella knows what he's looking for ðŸ˜

How about the former Prime Minister of Iceland (a lesbian feminist in a Same Sex Marriage) who wanted to censor the internet and place restrictions on the Icelandic banking system to try to ban online porn in that country.

    http://www.economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2013/04/economist-explains-why-iceland-ban-pornography

The kinds of laws that were being advocated would not have been out of place in Saudi Arabia, Iran or similar hellholes, Yet it was 100% to do with Feminism. Indeed, the Icelandic PM was backed up in this proposal by a wide variety of other feminists including Julie Bindel.

If Andrea Dworkin were alive she'd have supported it too (Andrea Dworkin was an important witness in the Meese Commission hearings in the United States in the 80s, which caused massive First Amendment violations until the 90s). This was all done at the behest of social conservative Republicans, including President Ronald Regan AFAIK.

Look also at the Swedish model on sex-work. It's also puritanical and 100% based on Feminsim. Yet it attracts widespread support from the Religious-Right, including Northern Ireland which copied it last year, both Sinn Fein and the DUP were in lock-step on the issue.

Now, these fools can't agree on anything. Budgets, parades, flegs, none of it. But Sinn Fein (feminist-left) and the DUP (religious-right) found unprecedented common ground on making Northern Ireland just a little more rabidly authoritarian. You couldn't make that up!

Instagram banned it to try and curb nudity, but the result was that a bunch of overweight people were up in arms over it thinking that they were being *"body-shamed" and saw it as discrimination against "curvy" people.

*I hate myself for even typing that. This recent "whatever-SHAMED" phenomenon gets on my tits.

Oh you think I should cut my hair?
    STOP HAIR-SHAMING ME!!!

    Nonsense.
