Can you recommend any good guides to do this or places to look?

I've never looked into doing this before.

It would be device depentant and I've not got a OP2 so I cannot give you a simple answer. Check the OP2 forums on XDA developers for guides though:

Lads my brother is thinking of selling his OPT because he's getting a new phone through work.

He has it about a month now with a official glass screen protector installed and an offical black leather flip case and an extra USB type C connector.

Phone just sits on the desk in work so its in perfect condition.

How much could he reasonably ask ?

I ordered two phones last Tuesday (one for me one for guy at work). The first had arrived by Thursday morning having shipped from London (ordered with Otterbox and extra cable) the second one shipped from China and currently out for delivery so I expect it will arrive in the next hour or so.

It was annoying they wouldn't let me order both on the one order as I was hoping to save on shipping. I ended up having to order both separately as I had claimed both invites.

First problem:

The volume adjuster seems to be broken, the volume is still increasing and decreasing as per demand, however the actual slider bar that appears is remaining the same.

Anyone have anything similar. Luckily its not a performance issue but it is very irritating.

Don't go with the 16GB. It's only a small amount more for 4 times the space and 4GB of Ram rather than 3GB.

So I'm waiting very patiently (not) for this to arrive from Shannon. It's been there since like 6am this morning and it doesn't look like it's going to be delivered now till tomorrow. I'm very excited though.

It's easily the most I've ever spend on a phone and as someone who uses their phone a lot for non calls/texts reasons I can't wait to get a proper piece of kit in my paws.

On my old phone swift key worked flawlessly, one the OP2 it's driving me mad. It Never predicts the right word I'm typing.

Maybe switch from flow to standard for a few days till it really starts to learn your typing style and predicting loads of words for you. Once it starts reading your mind like swiftkey can do then switch back to flow.


As an aside I don't know how anyone can use flow and be quick at it. I was terrible when I tried it.

Only have the OPT for a week, but noticed yesterday that Media Player is using 20% of my battery. The battery barely lasted the day yesterday, before that I was getting a day and a half at least from it.
Any idea what could be causing it please? I have rebooted the phone and also turned it off and back on again.

Apologies if it has already been mentioned in the thread but is anyone having issues with the sound on their 2 ?

The ringer and text alert are turned up full but still way below the sound level of the opo I had before were.
Ive tried everything in the settings but to no avail.
Also when I make a call via Bluetooth through the car stereo I have to turn the stereo volume up to Max to hear the other person.
Its makimg me miss my OPO !!

Did you try turn it off and back on? :pac:

I had issues with the sound slider(?) and rebooting it solved the problem.

I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had broken my screen on my OPT and had to get it repaired. Got quoted 160 from a well known repair place here and 180 from OPT.

Pretty steep, but it has to be done I suppose.

Any idea if the buggy blutooth is on the list of things to be looked at in the next software update?

Sorry meant to also ask - what's the best app for backing up your phone - One that keeps setting/launchers etc? Cheers
