Have you experienced any of the mad loading times some reviewers have encountered?

I take this back, since completing the prologue the load time is pretty terrible when loading a save from the main screen, 3 minutes! I don't know is the game poorly optimized or what but I'm suffering with real bad stuttering even on low settings, I have 770gtx, i5 4760, 8 gig of ram, so I dunno is my computer good enough too even run this game? (4 year old machine) I should have just got the ps4 version but 30 euro was too good a price.

I'm putting my time into Mount & Blade: Warband, Napoleonic Wars the most. I want to get started in Space Engineers but i feel overwhelmed at times. Dabbing in and out of another few.

I got F1 2016 a few days ago and although it took a good couple of hours of practice, I'm getting the hang of it.. No driving assists, no guide line and manual gears. I was able to get pole on the second race after qualifying dead last in the first :D
It looks good and feels good. I wonder do they still have modders for games that could update last seasons roster with this seasons one.. (would denuvo even allow that?)

Halo Wars is a great game think I had 1000+ hours with it on xbox. It was released on steam recently. Wonder if they will port the rest of the halo games. Not a massive fan of halo multiplayer but the campaigns were great.

I'm wondering if I should buy state of decay even though it's quite an old game and still expensive (23 on steam)

Have always heard the praise it got but just never got a chance to play it. I'm torn between waiting for the new state of decay or seeing what all the hype was about with the first one.

Anyone played it? Is there enough hours of genuine fun to justify that price?

Been mostly playing Civ 5 over the last week. One of those games where I'll go ages without playing it and then get addicted again when I do play it.
Also got back into Dark Souls which I hadnt played for months. Not far off finishing it now. Just trying to do the DLC before I go take on the last boss.
And to round things off I started playing the Warmastered Edition of Darksiders.

Heard it was boring didn't bother. Probably better off seeing if it will be released on sale in june next 8 weeks.

    Wow,surprised its still €23!!

Its a half decent game but it gets repetitive and the lack of some sort of Coop or MP really killed it for me. PC port isnt especially great either

State of Decay 2 launches this year iirc so id say wait for that and see does it fix any of the problems of the first game.

The reason the price is so high was because they released a remastered version which I believe has all the DLC included.

    Oblivion.

    I haven't a clue why.

But stepping out of the start up dungeon and into the forest is still a great experience.

Played Rage recently. Didn't know much about it except it was an Id game. Thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay but it ended pretty abruptly.

Started Shadows Of Mordor and absolutely love it. Just as I think I'm getting the hang of things, it punishes me horribly.

I'm about 6 races into F1 2016 and really enjoying it. One of the bad things is the way the AI cars sometimes slam into the back of you, but a rewind can be used to undo it, annoying though. Good graphics, fun driving and a good feeling of immersion in the season/car development. I might think about increasing the difficulty above Easy now, since I'm winning in a Torro Rosso

Picked up Dark Souls 2 last week since I finished the first one recently but fancied more Dark Souls. Very tough start to it though. Not a fan of having only 1 Estus flask to start with and having my max health go down every time I die.

Also started STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. I've been meaning to give it a proper go for ages and its quite good so far. Really enjoy the firefights with bandits and the like. It has a great atmosphere to it too.

And to round things off nearly finished Darksiders. Im in the dungeon where you have to redirect energy beams using portals. Its an absolute chore compared to the other dungeons which are a lot more enjoyable.

Agreed, it left a sour taste at the end of what had been a good game.

I agree the ending was abrupt and rushed. Speaks of possible development issues I'd say.

Still trying to give Mafia 3 a go. Its a complete chore at this stage though. Just about done with it and have very little played

Roughly 30 hours with a few side quests thrown in.

There is a few stand out missions that are exciting to play but taking over neighbourhoods is a chore as they are all roughly the same. When I was playing it half way through I gave it a break for a while and went back to it and then started to enjoy taking over neighbourhoods but if you are bored with it at the start I really doubt you will finish it.

    Prey, very tense game.

Got MGSV two weeks ago when it was going cheap, had wanted it for aaaaages but didn't have the graphics card to handle it when it came out initially and it had been on the wishlist for a logn time until "Isthereanydeal" sent me an email with it going for something ridiculous..

Suddenly, I end up sitting down last weekend, and for the first time in years, binged the game from beginning to end.

Steam says its taken 60 hours of my life, been a long time since I've played a game that much, but just got absorbed into it and had to finish it out!

Loved it, despite not having played many of the other metal gears.

Jaysus I put 120 hours into MGSV and didn't finish it. When the missions started repeating themselves only with caveats I checked out.

I might go back to it eventually.

You don't have to do those ones, I was pissed off when I saw them but quick google said they could be ignored and picked out the important things! I had to get some closure on the story so couldn't abandon it! Just a few important side ops and then the 4/5 main story missions become available! there's only a few! and then if you want even more "closure" you can see the proper ending on youtube that was "unfinished" , mission 51!

    Quite cool!

Does it improve past the intro?

I steam refunded it one hour into the endless intro, when finally it gave me some gunplay...

    Battle Brothers.

Halfway house between xcom and game of thrones.

Content can be a little bare, but the mechanics are solid and the game is nice and challenging.

Ah yea big time. It is a great game for sure. The combat mechanics are excellent.

It's huge though. Literally hundreds of hours gameplay in the single player campaign if you really want it. And I did find myself replaying missions to try and get perfect stealth and other rewards.

Started XCOM2 this week. The original was great but this is driving me to drink.

    Started playing SMITE.

Wanted to give some MOBAs a go, never really been big into this type of game but they look like fun if you can figure them out. Tried DOTA and Heroes of the Storm but the top down view and click to move system just messed with my head, I found it too busy on the screen and too hard to keep track of things. Was way too easy to lose the pointer in the head of a battle and even lose sight of your own hero. And on DOTA it seemed 90% of players are russian or something.

SMITE seems way better. The viewing angle alone makes it way easier for me. Good fun but I'm still not over the initial newb-who-really-sucks part of it.
