The Fair deal would mean their house would be proportionately taken by the HSE each year, why if they have no family would it not be better for them to do this as they won't have anyone to leave the house to anyway.

feck this one. Me and my 2 siblings work full time and pay tax.
Our elderly parents live the other side of the city.
Why should they not get home help?

For heavens sake, we are PAYING for it (and more besides)...

Part of what she is saying is true, however, these two gentlemen seem like they can afford to pay for home help themselves. What are they keeping their money for? They say themselves they don't even have somebody to leave it to when they are gone.
