Android/Dream Box [ Illegal discussion = Ban ]

Been looking at z11 pro max myself. z12 ultra has dolby, more storage, wifi 6e.

Im thinking I might get z11 pro max also as I'll be using it cabled and I dont bother with recording. Also like using LG magic remote for everything.

The only deal breaker I can see would be z11 pro max software updates stopping any time soon?

h96 pro+ is not connecting automatically to iphone hotspot when in range , any ideas?

I have all the scan settings enabled in location and development options

It doesn't show up in available networks when I bring it in to range , when I turn off hotspot and back on again on iphone the box reconnects

It was reconnecting previously on my Android phone

I think it's the pro max I have. The 128gb storage on the 12 would be handy but not really necessary with a good usb.

I had a Minix before this which was brilliant but the Formuler blows it out of the water for IPTV

Formuler Z11+ is excellent and their IPTV app is the best available imo.

Homatics box r 4k plus is very good ,ive set up 2 recently and can't fault them. Can usually be bought from Vondar store on Ali for €110/110.

Put Tivimate Premium on it ,its the next best app to MyTV online.

I see Z11 pro max was released in 2022.

Anyone know how long Formuler usually gives updates on their boxes and is mytvonline still functional after updates end?

On the updates, I've no clue but I do know that MyTVOnline2 is still working and fully functional.

Theres a formuler forum with staff employed to answer questions and troubleshoot. I had an issue a while back, I can't remember what it was. I asked about it on the forum and I had to recreate the issue and send logs of it thru the box, then pm a mod with a serial number of the log. They messaged me back less than 24 hours later on how to sort it. Great customer service from them. I had another issue too that they couldn't fix but it ended up being an issue with my IPTV provider and not the box itself. Again, great service from them tho.

Just a note about the formuler boxes for anyone thinking about getting one. The pause/rewind of the IPTV works flawlessly for me. Recording and series link works perfectly too.

The only issue I had was, if you have the box running on one channel, but set to record on another it wouldn't swap channels and the recording would fail. I got this sorted by buying a second IPTV subscription and both run together on the box. It was explained to my very un-tecnological mind that's its like one works in the background doing the recordings and the other looks after the live TV. Since putting the second sub on, I haven't missed a recording. It was an extra expense but one I'm happy to pay for the recording service it provides.

I was looking and saw the fire stick 4k max is on sale for £40. But I wanted to make sure it was still useful and not being replaced. I saw a load of mentions of this Onn 4k pro box in the States. Apparently the European one is the Thompson Streaming box 270.

This seems to be on Amazon IE for €80.

Given it's almost twice the price of the firestick I thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience of it? Although from posts above, the Formuler Z11 seems to be the one to go for.
