    ENDA KENNY’S FAILURE to make any public statements about the protection of comments made under privilege is a “grave threat” to democracy, according to Fianna Fáil.
    The party’s frontbench spokesman, Billy Kelleher, said the Taoiseach’s refusal to recall the Dáil and his silence was “compounding the constitutional crisis we’re facing”.
    “By refusing to act to have the Dáil sit in special session this week and by remaining silent on a grave threat to the democratic principles upon which our constitution was established the Taoiseach is further undermining the Dáil,” he said.

    Cheat/Liar/Corrupt/Lacky there has to be a way to strip him of his pension.

    With all the bitching about politicians living the high life, looking for photo ops, and turning up at constituency clinics and funerals to pander to the local vote, when you get one who dedicates himself to running the country, you make fun of him. Let him get on with the business of state, without this sort of nonsense. Shame on you all.

    On the contrary.

    Kudos to him for supporting his minister, and doing the right thing in spite of the attempt of the mob to influence good government.
    Appreciated by the wider electorate as it is standing to him now as his rising personal and party support attest.
