Well our little society has been going only a few years, but has grown from strength to strength so far. Our Next outing sees us heading to Irelands oldest golf club. Will our legacy still be around in 160 years time :D

No, the "Royal" is close but thankfully I'm a member in Cill Dara a lovely little 9 holer.

Not a fan of these people getting practice rounds in

-3 shots per practice round. My proposal.

Also want a gross prize in this one.

    (LoL)

    I'm not too demanding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 787 ✭✭✭mafc

Always find The Curragh slightly easier than my home course, although the par 5 13th is a brute index 2 off back sticks & 17th par 4 index 1 is a really tough hole. Guess we will be off society tees which will make scoring slightly higher.

Played up there a few weeks ago and it's in fine shape although the greens were slightly on the slow side. Expect everyone who plays will enjoy the course and by the way the Curragh isn't flat and plays slightly Linksy.

Think a Gross prize is a great idea, best stroke score on the day should always be acknowledged

Seve, looks like I'm going to have to pull out of the Curragh :( I just found out I have to go to Arizona for work that week  I'll be flying back on the Friday night but I doubt I'll be in any state for golf on the Saturday morning.

OK no probs. you are still booked in via teamer so can you please decline there if you are definitely not going

Unfortunately going to miss two in a row :(

I'm off to Istanbul on the 24th for ten days, so at least it's a good excuse :p

I'll have to make the last four to have any chance of defending my Ryder Jug spot!

Was looking forward to giving the Curragh a crack for the first time but we can't have everything.

    Play well guys and gals!

    See you in Kileen!

I'll decline on teamer Seve, I forgot the last time, sorry :o

Irish Derby is on that Saurday Curragh Racecourse, so expect some extra traffic.

Actually forgot i had a ticket and going to this until you mentioned it. Should be able to do both anyways. Derby card usually doesn't start until after 3.
