    What is a Clerihew?

Dammit I know that. Or I did. Once. Something to do with words or type, but that is just a distant whisper in the back of my head. Maybe by tomorrow...

    What is a Clerihew?

A Clerihew is a form of verse.

I think it's a limerick that goes haywire in the last line.

    e.g.

    A mathematician named Hall
Was endowed with a cubic-shaped ball.
    The sum of its weight
    Was the other by eight
Plus three times the square of that which equals zero.

There's something very specific about the form of verse and you just haven't said it.

It's a humourous form of verse?

I would have thought that was clearly implied in my answer.

    Take it.

The point is that they are biographical in nature.

Great quiz Autumn Harsh Cloud :)
am wondering.... might you have another question for us?
(I am not quite sure how the thread works yet, but I am neither sharp nor clever enough to know interesting factoids, and didn't know I was close to the answer.) :o

The original idea here was "Answer a question, pose a question" but we've always been very fast and loose with that. There is no rush, take your time, google something and ask away whenever.
There is no subject limit, the questions are meant to be easy though of course we've played fast and loose with THAT rule too :)

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I know it's a Batman movie from the 90s with Poison Ivy but I don't know which one. So, there's a clue for somebody to pounce on.

You want me to scratch the back of my what?? ;)

Struggling. All I see is numbers of participants in something and can't shake that from my mind, to clear space for other options.
