Some score your Philips move was a great one. I backed out of doing it myself walters to Philips and use Philips as my cheapie going forward but play him this week.

Fook me. I honestly thought people were making a mistake investing too much in the DGW. Congrats to everyone who rolled the dice. I can only say that not crying into my laptop because none of my private league rivals did either.

It has worked a dream, I needed to downgrade a mid because I was fed up of making decisions, this was the perfect time to do it for Phillips.
I pointed out earlier in the thread that I was very lucky that it was only Defoe I had as my third striker so it was really a no brainer to swap for either Benteke or Austin, I felt the home fixture against QPR swung it for Bents but there wasn't much between them anyway.
Not having Silva was a positive differential this week, Bellerin only played for me because I had no strength in defence, I got a lot of breaks and it is a huge week for me.

I already had austin and didn't make any transfers but the two players I considered most were Sinclair and Philips. So could've been agony or ecstasy.

Why the feck did I do Guzan to Green. Should have just started Panti, and would have finished on the 100pts and without a 4 pt hit. That decision cost me 5 pts overall.

At my position in the table thats the difference of a few hundred, or even a thousand odd places.

Some gambles work, some dont. Gonna take another 4 pt hit to probably get rid of him.

Finished on 88 myself. You have opened up a sizable gap on me now. As we tend to always be neck and neck I'm hoping it's a case of me catching up with you rather than you dropping back the rankings to me.

Personally I didn't think this DGW would be even worth bothering with. How wrong I was!

54 points overall for me. 9, soon to be 10 weeks of red arrows in the last 12 and a gradual drop from mid 200's overall to around 4,000. **** knows where I'll end up after that disaster tonight.

it was hard to sell any of your strikers. Phillips due to the layout of your squad was probably in hindsight the move you couldve made.

Always captain a dgw player, that is the lesson to be learned. Thats the second time this season I've been burned. gw34 150 % a chelsea player is getting the armband :mad::mad:

Came very close to switching out aguero for Benteke, which would have meant keeping Bellerin and thus netting myself another 30 points or so but I can't say i'm too upset with the score of 89. Still though, to think of what could have been! Hearing that Debuchy returned to training was by far the worst thing to happen to me last week!

So I'll end of 71. FPL discovery is saying the top 10k avg is 67, so I'm quite happy with 71, considering the extremes of scores this week. Should be my first green arrow after 8 reds.

High: captaining Austin
Low: transferring out Sanchez for Mane - ouch!
