Heaton with another unlikely clean sheet!

Haven't got the right rotation once with pantilimon since the jan wildcard!

Going to just throw fabianski in and save myself the torture every week.

Selling Rose for Naughton was a disaster, Wish I had just banked the transfer now, could do with 2 FTs for next week :o

Damn Kane and damn Spurs. Can't ANYTHING go right?! This game saps my strength sometimes (actually all the time).

I was gonna post it yesterday but with being a bit of a burnley fan I didn't want to jinx it. It's a tough place to go.

It's easy to say that after he gets 15, but there are plenty of people who have Austin that didn't captain him, Like others have said QPR away form coupled with WB at home was not an easy fixture on paper.

Based on fixtures there is/was a better chance of Kane/Aguero getting a hatch then there was on Austin getting the 15 point haul yesterday imo

Equally if you think it was a no brainer to captain say Austin, then shouldn't it be a no brainer that he would be in everyone's team?

It was a no-brainer when you consider he is playing 2 games for a relegation fighting team and he has shown good finishing already this season. It's easy to say it when you chose him and are waiting on another performance of the same intensity from him hopefully. Burnley were also fighting for their lives today, didn't think Kane would get many chances and was right about that, although I didn't foresee just how turgid the Spurs can be in attack.

Pantilimon, Jones, van Aanholt, O'Shea (c), Vergini, Cattermole, Gomez, Larsson, Fletcher, Wickham, Defoe.

Newcastle XI: Krul, R.Taylor, Janmaat, Williamson, Colback, Sissoko (c), Gutierrez, Gouffran, Ameobi, Cabella, Perez.

Come on Sunderland! (What am I doing with Panti, PVA and Defoe in my team:confused:)

I c'ed Austin ahead of the usual suspects but it was a nervous pick enfused with self doubt and the feeling of imminent failure and recrimination.

I shoulda been better informed myself. Was away on hols all week and didn't look at FPL at all. Missed price rises and put no thought into captain. Didn't get away with it unfortunately.

Left Panti on the bench. Took a 4pt hit to get Green in for Guzan, thinking that Green would get more points than Guzan over the the two games. Already regretting it, so now hoping that O'Shea is subbed after 60 minutes with his Clean Sheet and Goal/Assist, then Panti letting in a few goals, finally Green saving a Pen and having a clean sheet in the week, to make up for the 4pt hit.

    :D

gotta love BBC description of the goal
Where on earth has he pulled that from? A long hopeful ball is punted towards the Newcastle box, Steven Fletcher rises like a salmon to flick the ball on, and Jermain Defoe wallops the dropping ball into the roof of the net from 20 yards. A stunning, stunning strike.

    Any sign of O'Shea getting a goal/assist?
