The same things you use the phone for when you aren't in the shower.

S5 for the better screen, and expandable storage. Also waterproofing if that matters to you.

My contract is almost up with VF.
Would go with the OPO but no 4G is putting me off.
Will 4g work with meteor if I switched to them on Sim only?

I use one with Meteor/eMobile and it works fine. Speeds in Dublin are superb I have found it a bit iffy outside of Dublin think it really depends on where you.

how would Oneplaus compare with the Xiaomi Rednote for €170ish, what would I be paying an extra €130 for if I went for the oneplus?

The camera is probably the weakest part of it imo. Before it came out the camera samples looked amazing especially in low light maybe I have just messed up my settings but I find it really struggles in low light conditions and even in good light conditions the pictures look nowhere near as good as on the Z1C my wife uses.

Can't comment on a comparison to the rednote as have never used one.

I find the camera excellent quality especially the front facing camera. Compared to iphones especially there is no comerisan. One plus beats it hands down

Go into settings on the camera and scroll across to general you can reset the settings to default from there.

Will be looking for a new phone around June time. Is the 1+1 likely to drop further with the newer one released? €300 Max is the mostnid spend and unlikely to get newer model for that.

The OnePlus Two won't be released by June, so no to put it shortly.

Its already by a mile, the best phone for price/performance so I can't see the price coming down very much at all in the near future.

Happy to pay the €300 then. I've waited along time to be able to get one of these.
    Roll on June.

Never heard of it not working on O2 so don't see why it wouldn't work on Tesco.

It will work with any network. It is unlocked straight from the factory.

Just be sure to check your networks 4G bands, but 3G will work on any network without issue.

Lots of camera related posts in the thread worth having a read through. From my experience its good as long as you don't go messing around with the settings too much!!

The map above shows outdoor coverage for all services not 4g, for a more realistic map you need to select indoor and 4g only and even then its optimistic.

Thanks Moodrater. The pic I posted came directly from a "check your 4G coverage" link but is clearly wrong!!

But I still think your map shows better (even if optimistic) Vodafone 4G coverage than 3 are (optimistically) showing.

Seriously?! That's strange.. I ordered a screen protector a few hours later and that's shipped too using Royal Mail. The phone was express.
