27 days work in a 20 working day month means an awful lot of overtime, and that which I dread the most...................................

    Working at the weekend.

    **** you work!

    postponed now to Sept :(

Gonna book a week away so I have to take the time off as the miser in me will be disgusted to give away the money

Planning a lovely break with the oh in Croatia, a few days in Split, then Dubrovnik

The Honda has been very well behaved the past couple of weeks, I'm nearly at the point of giving it a name

    Suggestions?

Last car was called Bea meaning
The name of the most amazing girl that you'll ever meet. With her, you get everything. A mixture of both beauty and an amazing personality, something rare to find nowadays. Someone that's kind and caring, smart, funny, good sense of humor, fun and easy to be around, mysterious in some ways, shy yet outgoing, sometimes dorky, etc

The Honda is more staid and boring, I'm thinking Bethany?

Una. Looks good on the outside and easy to get comfy with, but a boring ride with no feedback and a penchant for messing with your head and making you wonder if it's you or her that's broken.

A young one who worked in a village pub in East Limerick way back in the day was known as "NSR500", 'cos she was an unrideable monster. :D

I've just pulled the trigger on a set of Lux colour adjustable LED's for my angel eyes. I've been mulling it over for a while and finally got the courage to buy them!

I had something similar a while ago although they were just the one colour but they kept blowing on me. I've been advised that these ones I'm getting are a totally new design and that fault has been sorted. Let's hope they're right!

Just received a text reminder that the NCT for one of our cars is due....... in March 2016 !!

Went on to state that a further reminder will be issued closer to the time unless I wish to opt out.

No harm, IMO, some people seem to have no awareness of their NCT due dates so the more reminders the better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭RandomAccess

They used to send you a date and reminders in the past and it worked fine. For some moronic reason they did away with it without telling anybody. It's been gone for years now.

Glad they are moving in the right direction (even if it is backwards).

surely you should be aware when your nct is about to expire?

This is Ireland, most people need to be spoon fed everything or they'll curl up and die.
