so at what stage do people realise bateing brady does not work

Especially from a guy who probably wont be able to live up to those words as he is warming the bench. He played less than 60 snaps last year at LB and has done nothing this year. Dumbass he is.

The guy has obviously suffered major brain damage at some point in his career to not realise what he's doing.

I don't know about the rest of ye but every time I read that name - 'Johnny Football', I subconsciously replace it with 'Johnny Bollocks'.

Mallett released by the Texans. No surprise really and only he can take the blame for missing the flight after being on his last chance, but I can understand why he was clearly unmotivated to play for O'Brien. The way O'Brien handled the whole Texans QB situation from the beginning to the present day has been horrific.

He comes across as a bit of a whiney b1tch tbh.

Brady was asked in an interview on Monday "Was Mallet always this type of Knuckle head?" Brady replied basically with no comment...very telling imo

    Love his wikipedia description...

Ryan Mallett (born "Douche McAllister" on June 5, 1988) is an unemployed American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arkansas.

He's going to be so upset when he wakes up to that news.

Well they can always fly him back in if that happens.

I remember watching the Hard Knocks and thinking the GM let him off easy for sleeping in that time. He came up with some dog-ate-my-homework excuse and the GM was like "oh, that's what happened, fair enough."

What an idiot....all he had to do was not be a douchebag and he'd be a starting QB this season.

What is puzzling to me is his sense of entitlement, like he's earned the right to be the undisputed QB of a team, he acts like he's owed something, but the truth is, he's always promised and never delivered.

In a QB-starved league, another team will pick him up. Young with a (supposedly) talented arm, he'll get another go somewhere. Maybe as he matures (or this experience) might light a fire and we will see him catch on and click somewhere.

I read that Todd Gurley broke 11 tackles on Sunday with 111 yards coming after initial contact. Great to finally be truly excited about someone new at the position, it seems CJ2K was really the last one to truly grasp the imagination in a big way. Looks a real special player

I think the Denver Broncos should be calling him...
Give him a year to work with Peyton and learn their system.

never mind cj2k considering he's doing this coming off an acl surgery so he presumably will improve a bit he could end up adrian peterson type good

A bit dismissive of CJ there, he was and is a very talented runner. Gurley though is serious looking :)

Which system, the one that goes wrong in the first half or the one they switch to in the second?

Wouldn't disagree with AP being up there as one of the best but I often wonder how good CJ would have been if the Titans had stayed decent

His problem is that he didn't have as much to him game as his stats might lead you to believe - maybe one of the best ever at taking it to the outside for long gains and highlight reel stuff but he was never that good at getting the 'hard yards' which are always crucial (maybe even more so today when teams look for their big plays through the air with the rule changes). Once that got I always preferred Jamaal Charles over him because of that, to be honest. Charles is also unreal at 'taking it to the house' but is also really good through the tackles. We're he in a better team he would still be behind Peters on without doubt, but not by an awful lot. Charles' lowest career YPC is 5.0,and he has had seasons of 5.9 and 6.4 with over 1,000 yards which is absolutely insane.

Mind you CJ2K is doing great in Arizona this year, 5.1 per carry and on pace for close to 1,500 yards. Bruce Arians really is remarkable in that sense - Palmer, Fitz and Johnson all looked washed up has beens, but here they are all playing at all pro levels. Fitz is on pace for 105 catches, 1,450 yards and about 15 TDs while Palmer is looking at 4,600 yards, 36 TDs to 11 TDs and a 108.9 (65% accuracy and a 9.1 avg) rating. John Brown was taken right near the end of the 3rd Round last year and is on pace for over 80 catches, 1,300 yards and 7 or 8 TDs. And as best I know that is all behind a line that isn't even particularly special!

Getting that kind of return (and I don't consider it a fluke, looking at Arians' track record - not only did he coach Luck for his first year, but was QB coach again for the Colts in Manning's first three seasons, and played a huge Roethlisbergers development) is massive, allowing them to spend their high draft picks and allocate a good deal of their cap space to the defense and in the trenches. Bit of a shame he only got his first coaching job in his 60s because the guy looks like a bloody wizard.

Arians doing a phenomenal job. CJ is running hard this year and that is what I mean obviously he still has it in him but he seemed to get lost a little in his last couple of years at the Titans (still went over 1000 though) but how good could he have been if he had motivation like this year!?

C2JK is having a renaissance and when you consider he was also shot in the shoulder in the off season

i don't think its been a motivation issue i think he's redeveloped his game. when he was at his best was able to hit a hole and his speed would gain him big yards if there was no hole he would try and bounce it outside and if he got outside again his speed would gain him big yards but he was never fond of contact i believe his yards after contact was one of the worst in the league.

it could be from his track backround a lot of those guys are known for disliking contact so that could have held him back but this year is the first time iv noticed him getting hit and staying up

The real picture of Pierre-Paul's hand. Not as bad as the monstosity that was posted on here a few weeks ago that I haven't been able to get out of my head since :pac:, but Jesus:

True but don't forget that's a picture of hand that had multiple surgeries. The big worry for me remains the nerve damage done to the hand. And if his right side/hand is his dominant side, then that only compounds the problem for him. Even if he's not the players he was and that's very likely now, it would be nice to see him back on the field some day.
