Good stuff but this match has been ours to lose since 20 overs into this innings and it looks like we're keeping our heads :)

Ervine in now, played a couple of seasons for Lisburn, talked about qualifying for Ireland for a while. I bet he'll be reminded about that once or twice.

    12 overs to go 224-5

    Ireland 331-8

Little off topic, but after Pakistan win today do we stand any chance of beating them? India is a foregone conclusion I'd assume?

Anything is possible. Pakistan have finally found some form, but if Ireland could post a good total any team is capable of a collapse at some stage

Also India have already qualified so there is a chance they may take their eye off the ball and be looking forward to their QF

    Ervine looks poor so far

Assume it matters were they finish, finishing top would mean an easier draw in QF

Yep, I'd say us beating India is definitely a foregone conclusion.

Give them and Pak a good enough hiding and we could top this group yet on NRR.

Cusack keeping us in it and then o'brien bowls and the runs flow, hes got to be alot tighter

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,729 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

O'Brien is a terrible terrible bowler

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,728 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

    Need to get Williams out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭ninebeanrows

Going to end up being a comfortable enough win for Zim if KOB stays out there

Good partnership but relax guys ...... This is still too steep a chase for Zimbabwe to pull off with only one proper batsman left to follow

What did I tell you guys?

What's the score now. Sky sports score centre is a couple of overs behind.

    Jesus, over-reaction much?

He's bowled badly - but frankly I don't think he's an international bowler anyway. And it's not like he'll be bowling every single remaining ball.
