Sligo IT definitely works for students. They sent out an email a while back telling them about it. It's using office 365 for business. You get office for 5 computers and 5 mobile devices. There is nothing in the account information about OneDrive storage however so I don't know if they get that.
Almighty , can you edit my post then. Its went past the time i can do it myself

    Hey guys.
I couldn't get the UCC one working for a long time.
You have to log in at a different page than the normal one.
    http://www.ucc.ie/en/sit/faq/0365/
Click on the link in step 1 and sign in using your IT account password and it works.
I was trying to log in using this link https://products.office.com/en-us/student but it kept saying I wasn't eligible.

    This one is working: https://login.microsoftonline.com/

I've just signed up there (for CIT), seems to be online only.

Apparently IT Tallaght have signed up for this with a guide on how to log in here http://www.it-tallaght.ie/itsupport_officeproplus

However it's not working yet for me :(
If anyone else here in ITT can give it a try?

Assume its not the college who decides. Handy for the storage side of things anyway.

    There are 2 versions aviable
One is online only and that's free
The second one is full office 365
That's $2.50 a month (charged to the college)

And from what I searched few weeks ago 1TB storage is "OneDrive for Business" option and it is not free. It can be added extra to free on-line office package.
