Trainer said after last race that may skip Triumph for Aintree. Today might have changed his mind however

I'm sure JP would love another Triumph runner. ;)

Took 50s yesterday for the Triumph, looks a serious serious horse.

Think I'd go to Aintree if he was mine, looks made for Aintree at this moment in time.

Was really impressed with Beltor on hurdles debut and the form of that race looks strong with the 2nd and 3rd bolting up next time out. Backed him tomorrow at 11/4, think it should be fav. 2.00 Kempton.

    good winner

Surely Rocky Creek will need the run, no?

This is true but should be fit enough and thats why he's worth taking a chance on at a nice price.

I think its high time to retire poor ol Mossey Joe.

PU again...just doesnt enjoy it anymore.

Mossey joe looked up for it there but dropped out of it like a light there when things got serious.

Tutchec (2-55 newcastle) looks as though this marathon trip should be right up his street. Has winning course form too and a handy weight. 12/1 looks fair enough

Spring Heeled given a very tender ride there. How wide was it kept out? Seems clear to me that they had no intention of having it win today.

Was always going to be just out for run today, sane as LW. Culloty hasn't had a winner since March either

If the Favourite is 6/1 and fancied , then Milborough at 20/1 must be the one to back EW.

    I LOVE YOU!

Spring Heeled hadn't run since last July so you'd imagine they were blowing away the cobwebs for a go next month at the festival.

SDG looked alot better today giving all that weight away.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Lovely to see that from Sire De Grugy, what a leap at 2 out!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,224 ✭✭✭jimjamcos

I was wrong. Very good performance that. Still wouldn't back him for QM though

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,304 ✭✭✭Jon Stark

To say that was an improvement from Sdg would be an understatement. Quality performance especially given the weight he was giving away. Loved that 2nd last leap.

    Great performance by that "pig".

After that I'd be inclined to say he'll be hard bet in the CC.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,722 ✭✭✭posturingpat

Job done, i'd say they'll be happy enough with that, now punters latch onto him and get dodging bullets a little drift for me :D

Far West didnt go a yard, he beats a potentially regressing horse and now he is nailed on for the Champion.

RajdanI Express could go well in pieces here
