You do realise Russian troops are on the ground in Ghouta right. Ghouta is a suburb of Damascus, the Capital. Russia and Iran are not going to sit back and watch the Western powers bomb the crap of Assad forces. We are playing a dangerous game right now.

So Mr Scary P will threaten us all. Maybe a proper nerve gas attack on London instead of a botched one

Are they preparing their aircraft or using Assads ?
I'm sure it will be the usual procedure. Just get the jihadst lackeys to do it, isn't that what they are being paid for?
Get the cameras and babies ready.

Children in hospitals and schools and bakery's and towns and cities currently being directly targeted by Assad and putins forces are fair game

Ghouta neighbourhoods have been taken over by Jaysh al-Islam ( Al Qaeda)Syrian people used by the jihadists, as pawns. Jaysh al-Islam was shelling other districts in Damascus the people demanded action. The Syrian government had to go in then and it's innocent civilians who suffer. When neighbours got liberated the civilians came out and starting waving Syrian flags they were delighted.

What are they going to do ,

MOSCOW — Moscow plans to respond to any US strike on Syria and will target any missiles and launchers involved in such an attack, Gen. Valery Gerasimov, the head of the Russian General Staff, warned Tuesday.

“The US seeks to use [any alleged] provocation … as a pretext to strike government areas in Damascus,” Gerasimov told state-operated news agency RIA.

“We have credible information that militants are now preparing to stage the use of chemical weapons on civilians by the Syrian government forces. For this goal, the militants have brought to eastern Ghouta people, including women, children and elders, from other areas. These people have to play victims of this staged chemical attack. The White Helmets with their cameramen are already there for live broadcasts,” said Gerasimov.

In their dreams. The US would flatten them & they wouldn't know what hit them.

It is obviously a story put out so that when Assad/Putin gases civilians, they can blame militants.

That's odd 3 aircraft shot down , multiple helicopters shot down ,hundreds of russians killed attacking a Kurdish controlled area ,
    Strikes against Assad chemical weapons,

And you think Iran and putin will do anything come on

The Western powers are dragging us into a WW3 if we not careful.
Absolutely. Putin would have grown up with the horrors of WW2 casting a dark shadow and knows the consequences of a Third World War. It seems those on the Washington DC drinks party circuit think WW3 will be fought in a faraway country like all their wars.

Plus when the Soviet idea was to use so much cannon fodder that, at time the Nazis ran out of ammunition.

Any major conflict will be so dependent on technology that Russia simply doesn't have. Would you buy a Russian phone, laptop etc ? This is why China is way more powerful than Russia. They invested in technology & building their economy whilst Russia gave the oil & gas money to Putin & his cronies.

Sovereign before the war is more accurate.

I not here to defend the Soviet Union practices after the war. The point is the Soviet Union did not Invade Eastern Europe. They attacked Nazis occupying those lands.

Take a history lesson. It was AGREED at the Yalta Conference how Europe would be divided after the defeat of Germany. The US and the UK gave the Soviet Union permission to occupy eastern Europe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

Take a history lesson. It was AGREED

Did they agree to free democratic elections for Eastern Europe countries yes a
Did they ask the 75 million people if they wanted to be physically oppressed did they ask the citizens if they wanted russian tanks shooting at them .no

So again historically russians can't be trusted to keep agreements and tell the truth

Fair and free elections were promised and agreed to for Eastern Europe by the Kremlin .

Instead they siezed lands and deported tens of thousands to Russia and disappeared hundreds of thousands , along with horrific mass rapes of women across the whole of eastern Europe,

What are you going to tell me next? East Europeans were better off under Nazi occupation?
US soldiers also mass raped but it was and still is covered up.

It is conveniently forgotten that it was the British who handed the "poor Czechs" to Hitler on a plate.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

It is conveniently forgotten that it

Was the Kremlin that lied it was the Kremlin who broke agreements it was the Kremlin who annexed states ,,it was the Kremlin who massacred innocent people who wanted freedom ,

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,093 ✭✭✭Elmer Blooker

You've just wrestled the crown from Gatling for the most misinformed/brainwashed poster on this thread. It makes absolutely no sense for Assad or Putin to be involved in chemical weapon attacks against Syrian civilians. I suggest that you be a bit more selective as to which news sources your consume.
