People who will never get into the HOF or be welcome back into the WWE

All this furore about Chyna got me thinking about who else is on Vince's Sh*tty List and will either never get into the Hall Of Fame, will never be welcome back or have never and will never get in the door full stop.

They say "never say never" in wrasslin', but some people will never come off that list of Vince's.

I'll start with probably the most obvious. Jeff Jarrett will never get into the HOF.

    Benoit.

Chyna not done herself much favours recently and I don't think she would be big enough of a draw for Vince or Trips to really go out of their way to make up with her.

Good topic. Rick Rude left on bad terms but he defo deserves a spot. As do Davey Boy (who I believe will get in) and Owen (who also deserves it but there's issues there.). RIP to all 3.

    Jarrett will go in eventually.

Steph and Trips won't hold the same grudges towards him that Vince does.

Rude and Davey Boy will definitely go in eventually I feel, there's no major reasons not to.

Owen on the other hand might be a long wait. I believe it is the Hart family who dont want him in there despite WWE offering.

Owen will get in, but we will be waiting a long long time unfortunately.

JJ will 100% make it in, I'd bet anything on it.

Chyna and Benoit are the only two I could honestly see never see making it in.

are they still inducting 6 every year? really reduces the quality imo.

It does for sure. I can see it getting put on hiatus like they did before for a few years if they start to run out of bodies.

Dynamite Kid....they wouldn't wanna roll a wrestler onto the stage and show the effects wrestling can have on the body. Also wasn't he very vocal about wwe after the Benoit incident? I could be mistaken

Meant to be a deeply unpleasant individual as well.

Whats the history behind Owen not getting in?

Dont know much about him tbh!

Barry Horowitz, Crash Holly, Chris Candido, Jim Cornette :(

Psycho Sid and Vader should be in by now.

Does Cornette have heat with Vince? I do love a good Cornette rant now and again.

His wife hates the industry completely, to the point that when the WWE put footage of Owen onto the Hart Family DVD she went beserk with legal threats. She won't speak to members of his family because of wrestling. As long as she is this much against the industry he won't be in the HoF, even if he absolutely deserves to be.

Are either of the Steiners in there?

China will have found God, this is what her speech will be about etc .... Once she gets into the HOF she will go back to the way she was.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,282 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

She was in a porno parody of The Avengers, in the PC kid friendly era of WWE we are in now no way would Vince risk bringing her back into the fold.

    Sunny....oh **** too late.

Bulldog and Dynamite Kid should be in there, probably won't be until both are dead though

    Surely Koko B. Ware wouldn't get a spo...jaysus

Apparently Dynamite Kid has said he wouldn't want to go in as he wouldn't be up for appearing in front of everyone in his condition, according to Georgia Smith

    Salvatore Sincere.

I'd like to see Savio Vega go in actually

in my opinion, Ken Shamrock should go in

No. They didn't have much of a WWF career to talk about. The odd decent tag match in the year or so they were there when business was in the toilet. Their notable stuff was in WCW and Japan when there was cross-promotion stuff.

In all seriousness, there is absolutely no standard to their hall of fame - it is who Vince likes at the time or who they're selling a DVD for (Bruno being something of an exception). A credible hall of fame needs some sort of criteria.

There was a falling out when he booked OVW which WWE was using as a developmental camp.

Cornette has made decent poke doing shoot DVDs venting about everyone who he doesn't like.

Demolition should be in, but I believe Vince has serious issues with Ax over the use of the Demolition gimmick.
I believe they are still the holders of being the longest running WWF tag team champions of all time.

Should definitely be in, sort it out HHH.

Jarrett will go in when everybody else is used up. In WWE he was an upper mid carder at best, and people didn't miss him all that much when he left.

Not at all. Now that the HoF seems to giving spots to guys who have barely even wrestled in the WWE (In fact some never did like Abdullah). Jarrett made a large enough impression on WCW and has such a big history with wrestling in general I'd be shocked if he didn't appear in the HoF in the next few years.

I am a mark for JJ though I will admit that!

Dynamite I can see going in after his death due to his own health, but it's a damn shame. The mans career was both incredibly important in the story of professional wrestling but it's one whose impact can still be seen on the product today, and not just in one company but across the board. I know he has his own reasons for not wanting to appear in public, but if he saw the response and respect he would receive from fans and his peers it might change his mind. Would be a shame for him to pass away and not see that moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,081 ✭✭✭✭chopperbyrne

Dynamite was also pretty much the biggest influence on the career of Benoit who WWE will not want to remind people of.

I liked Double J well enough, too, but I don't see him going in any time soon. He'll be up for induction when other similar stature guys of the same era are being considered, like D-Lo Brown, the Godfather and X-Pac. He may get bumped up the pecking order if he's inducted as part of the Jarrett family, as the WWE does like to induct whole families, especially where no one performer could be considered a stand out.

Of course, that would be for nothing if those rumours of him 'extorting' money from McMahon to defend the IC title after his contract had expired are true. In that case, I don't think he'll ever go in.

I was going to say Lawrence Taylor probably won't get into the Celebrity wing becasue of his controversies but if Tyson can get in well who knows.

Rikishi is going in this year. That alone invalidates your argument against someone like Jarrett. Jarrett is a multi time World Champion who also founded the only promotion to come anywhere close to WWE since WCW went under. Even if Vince still holds a grudge about his departure, Triple H will soon be calling the shots and I doubt he will hold the same grudges.

I fully expect Jarrett to at least be offered the spot in the next five to ten years. Obviously he won't be the headliner but could easily be second or third tier.

Rikishi was way more over than I ever remember Jarrett being within the WWF/E. His run with Too Cool got him really hot for a while and even put him in the title picture with Triple H. Plus there's the politics of it with the Anoa'i family's ties to WWE to consider as well, not that I'm saying that definitely has something to do with the induction.

I'm not saying Jarrett absolutely couldn't go in, I'm just saying that there would have to be circumstances met like both parties allowing it to happen and nobody else being in the picture that year. Vince will one day depart the big chair, but doesn't say also that there aren't wishes that he expects H to honour (if the rumours have any weight to them that is).

Overall, I don't really agree with mid-carders being inducted anyway. What good is a hall of fame if everybody of any note eventually winds up in it?

No way is Dynamite Kid going in while he's alive.

WWE doesn't recognise TNA in the same way it does the AWA, WCW, old school NWA etc though. So him founding TNA and his championship reigns there wouldn't have bearing on an induction, in my opinion.

Double J is a 4 time WCW World Champion a 3 time WCW US Champion..He is also a 6 time WWF/E Intercontinental Championship add a AAA World Championship to that and multiple other titles from all over he is well deserving of being in the HoF.

But as someone else said he will more than likely go in with his father as part of the Jarret Family.

Seemingly (and I could be getting mixed up here) he turned up to shows, was told multiple times there was nothing for him, so he got pi$$ed off, and 450'd his way out the door

Shame, he was good. Him and Kidd were a decent team as International Airstrike. Wonder what his next move will be..

Bit off topic, but when does Vince go in? If it's done on his watch it'll surely be the next 3/4 years.
