New projects? Sure Binky is still years away at the pace they're putting out videos!

Whilst they have our attention they may as well direct our attention towards the next side project which no doubt, people will help fund for the great content they produce. May as well start drumming up interest now and if anything, reckon it shows that they're coming towards the end of the Binky project that they're advertising other upcoming projects.

100% will have to load up on the episodes for any new project because the waiting is a killer alright!

New Bad Obsession content tonight at 8. Not Binku though - new series.

    new episode just gone up

They seem to be almost going out of their way NOT to finish this , a weeks work on an air con rad !

everything but the fundamentals being over-done from the very start.

It could handle/drive like a pig as it's not being tested, but it'll have great air con , remote locking , and all sort of bespoke stuff that is secondary to the whole project .

Even that Chop shop, gobdaw Londoner and the mad Indian, had the brains to try out their monstrosities on private roads ,before they went in too deep.

I thought the triple radiator sandwich work was excellent. Keeping cool in traffic while not having to worry about heat soaking into your intercooler may not be essential but nice to have :)

I've no issue with them taking as long as they like. I'd happily watch 100 hour long episodes.

I'd just like them all now please :)

Personally I like the way it is, i'd rather watch the likes of the radiator meddling/fabrication/electrical work than the intricacies of suspension theory.

Not Binky (well not until the end) but still well worth a watch.

Actually, they're basically opening bolts for half an hour.

Looks like one more episode. I’ll be sorry to see it end.

No way, there’s so much work more left in it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 527 ✭✭✭theShire

Surely there's plenty left to be done.
Bodywork/Paint, Interior, Engine rebuild, first run of the engine, Dyno etc...

Love watching, the thought/detail that goes into everything.

Will be great to see the finished product but will miss the episodes when it's complete

How have I missed this thread for five years :( been an obsessed fan from the start but never thought of searching boards for Binky.

Fantastic work the lads do, the two personalities together keep you watching as much as the fantastic over engineering of the smallest BRACKET.

Gonna binge read five years of this thread now haha love it.

They must read boards , because they seem to specifically address my point below in the last video. They state they didn’t do a roughed up test run to test dynamics because they then wouldn’t have finished detailing anything else afterwards.

The quality of the detail is exquisite, but as a driver I'd be more concerned with the fundamentals of the build and how it may handle. It could turn out be a complete pig for example in pitch and yaw , with dangerous or unmanageable dynamics.
If I was doing this project I'd have run a rough cobbled together example around a racing circuit/private road to make sure track and wheelbase and weight distribution were fundamentally in the ballpark before getting into fine inconsequential time consuming details like bloody central locking re-engineering. But time will tell ... a long time.
