    I'm in a quandry.

Two feet of snow, power out for miles around, and I'm lying in front of the turf fire and the genny keeping me lit. Dying to go to the pub, but they are in the dark.

"It's beginning to snow again. The flakes, silver and dark, are falling obliquely against the lamplight. It's probably falling all over the island; on the central plain, on the treeless hills, falling softly upon the graveyards, upon the crosses and headstones, upon all the living and the dead..."

Dude. It's no use without context.

How long does it normally take to get home?

Has Dublin airport closed or have prime time done a "snow crisis in Dublin" special yet?

I remember one year there was a dusting of snow in Dublin and the schools were closed all around Ireland and we went to the beach in Donegal and built sandcastles.

Bit of a dusting in West Wicklow this afternoon. Drove back to Dublin at about 6 - could go at 50 - 60 Km/hr. But it was crawling coming out of Dublin. It was freezing and snow still on the car when I got to Dublin.
