I need 36 points from DeMarco Murray and Rashad Jennings tonight. :(

If they produce their very best you may sneak the win.

I pronounce it as Alec in Violet Elizabeth's voice.

The walks out in Glendalough are fantastic. One of my favourite places. Haven't been to Powerscourt in a good few years but remember it as being nice (gardens etc.)

It's very mild, certainly no need for hiking boots.

I usually do the white walk on this map

    http://www.wicklowmountainsnationalpark.ie/documents/WalkingTrails2009.pdf

It has large wooden sleepers up the hill and around the top. I've done it wearing runners no problem.

How long does that take you?

I'd recommend runners for that white walk. Takes me about 2.5 hours, I guess I do it regularly enough though, so I'm not messing around taking pictures. And thats always from the far car park, cause I'm cheap.

About 3 hours. We're slow enough walkers

Head up to powerscourt awec. Then go in to the shop and get a latte and a cupcake (I normally have tay and a bun myself). Then sit on your arse outside. Then go home. No exercise required.

Actually I didn't really read the post.

Glendaloch is better for an adult walk. Powerscourt is better for a family thing.

Powerscourt gardens, for a mature family stroll in the gardens, really is beautiful, though pricey!

Powerscourt Waterfall, was an awesome place to go run around as a kid.

This is the best approach imo.

    I read awec as ehwac

I read it in a Chris Eubank voice trying to say A Wreck

What do people think of the idea of having a dedicated thread around discussing refs?

To quote the bould Nigel... "this is not soccer!". I don't think it's a good idea. We all criticise refs occasionally but a thread encourages a lot more of it. It's a thankless job, no need for extra criticism.

I don't think its needed as it just leads to OTT criticism. The laws thread can deal with quite a bit of ref discussion as per what they do and how they deal with specific aspects of the law and that's all that's needed#

The laws thread covers a lot of things and can allow discussion of all levels of the game as it can all relate back to the law. A thread discussing pro refereeing performances just can lead to a mess.

Fair point also, I don't often read the laws thread :)

I was standing in the queue waiting to get my ticket and all the young girls were pointing and staring at me.
    I've clearly still got it...

Anyone know any good sites to get some relatively cheap fitness clothes, base layer shorts/tops gym t shirts etc. Looking at sportsdirect at the minute just wondering if there are any other good ones I should look at

Does it have to be online? I bought some Azzuri base layers in Sports World (inside Heatons) and they're perfect for going on the bike. Pretty good value too IIRC.

No not at all, but if it's not online Galway would be the preference and unfortunately we don't have a Heatons/Sports World. Will probably try TK Maxx at the weekend as sometimes they have good stuff from last season

Jarryd Hayne has been dropped. Hasn't been released but was inactive in their last game (roster is 53 players but only 46 can play). Could be released soon.
