    I think 50 shades gives people ideas for the bedroom. Some women don't watch porn for a variety of reasons, so it opens their eyes to a different side of sex. In a twisted way, it's a modern day fairy tale. Grey is a billionaire who happens to be excellent in bed, who doesn't want that? He does have issues, but he develops into a more confident, and dare I say normal, character as the plot progresses. And everyone loves a good fairytale :D

    I think it's a hit with some men as it helps get the ladies in the mood :P
