Fabric conditioner. The Lidl one smells fine when you pour it in, but leaves clothes stinky.
Shampoo and conditioner. I only end up with itchy scalp.

Cotton buds ! cheap cotton buds make me angry.

Razor blades. I've tried every brand, but Gillette are the only company to make a good Razor. I hate having to buy them, but no other choice.

I used the King and of Shaves razors for about a year. switched back to Gillette cause they were more convenient to get. Don't even know if King of Shaves make them anymore, but I wouldn't use any other shaving gel than theirs.

Once ran out of shaving foam, thought I'd pick up a pack of disposable BIC razors and shaving foam on the way to work. Sweet Jesus they are terrible, ended up dumping the rest of the pack in the bin.

Absolutely agree. It's one thing budgeting on what kind of paper to wipe your ass with. Quite another to cut corners with something that could potentially save your life some day.

Fully agree. The stems on the cheap ones bend far too easy when you're trying to dig a bit of crud out of the ears, I find.

Toilet paper - Why budget? The cheaper stuff doesn't last as long, you need to use more and it feels terrible.
Sometimes it's even cheaper anyway. Was in Supervalu and Andrex was the cheapest per meter. (yes I did the sums on my phone while standing in the aisle :o )

Anyway, shoes. Worth spending money on a good pair and keeping them maintained by a good cobbler. Have a pair of chelseas for about 5 years. Bought a pair of slipon black shoes in Dunnes when I was in a hurry and no where else was open, they lasted about a month.

I'm more of a fan of Kandee, so much so in fact I wonder are there some addictive ingredients.

All the suggestions of shoes, I gotta agree with that, got a few pairs of Dr. Martens, and the pair I'm currently wearing have lasted me for oh about 4 years so far? Money well spent.
