My light force scope mounted lamp is 14 years old now and has been through several switches ,bulbs and rewired more than once.
What is the alternative and what's new on the market .

What kind of distances are you shooting at? Perhaps a torch would suit better.

They are more compact, generally cheaper, and serve more than one purpose whereas a scope mounted lamp is usually reserved for rifles only.

Normally I try to stalk any fox see to make sure he never runs from a lamp again
There is enough young lads making foxes lamp shy around here
Average shot 100yds using Swarvoski glass

To be honest i have never seen these torches up close but they do get very good reviews, very keenly priced as well

I was planning on getting a nm800 and seen these and took the risk and ordered the T50 and I'm delighted I did it performs perfectly and a big saving too I am going to order a t67 in the new year and keep the T50 as a spare in the jeep I had it on Dollymount beach recently while walking the dogs and lit up fox eyes from some distance well worth considering if you are near north Dublin you are more than welcome to come check it out some evening

Hi Peter, when you say the T67 is comparable to the xsearcher how comparable is it. Being that it is cheaper does it loose out on much performance to the xsearcher.
Really like would a person like me who has no knowledge of these torches and never used one even notice a difference if he was told to try both of them.
I can't find on their website if they do the batteries if not where would ya get them

    Many Thanks

Hi you can contact the seller he is really helpful, yes they come with batteries they are rechargeable UF 18650, the torches do look well made and of a high quality, and performance wise i don't think there is much in them to be fair a I have only seen an xsearcher in use and and I got the t50 which he says is comparable to the NM800 and there not much in it, as i say drop down to me some evening and take a look I am sure you will be impressed

yea there's a good few foxes there but there's no shooting allowed so they don't have that much pressure other than dogs been walked

It's not the states it's China they come from just be careful I paid no tax but I know lads who where caught for it

Hi tikka391, I have the nm800 and the xsearcher. The parts are the same for both lamps accept for the head, and the xsearcher works better with extra tube for an extra battery. The colour pills can be used for both but I would advise you to get neck sections for each pill as it is a lot easier to change them around. I got them from the U.S. but to be honest by the time charges were paid it probably would be easier to get them here. Sportsden have them now and are easy to deal with.

Hi Jim I know the boys in sports den but they are very expensive. I did a very quick count up of what I think I would order from dereelight I'm not full sure about the exact components yet but a very rough count I would still save a good bit.
    Hey I could be wrong.

I ordered 2 NM800 IR with extension tube, 2 batteries, and charger from www.dereelight.com. Took about 3 weeks to arrive. I had to pay import duty as well but still way cheaper.

Might be right. Must be some reason I got them from us. Anybody got the tracer stingray scope mount light??

I have given up on scope mounted lamps and use a couple of torches I ve bought from ludicrouslumens in the UK. Great range,sh*te batteries. So buy some Sony or Panasonic off Ebay. Good for 150
    Sorry,good enough for 200yds. Got a vixen tonight :))
