Bet365 are saying its going to take a few days for it to be settled,I sent them the twitter page but does anyone have an officall link to prove it won?

    A lesson learned for you.
Betfair settled within 30 minutes of the Twitter BARB announcement.
    Bet365 in a few days.
I wouldn't use anything but the market leader.
BARB wont be publishing their figures on their website until 5th January.

They were one of the lowest odds in the market on oddschecker.
    Even lower than Paddypower!
Betfair was the highest, so why would you use them and lose money on low odds?
And to add insult to injury, delaying paying out!

No wonder Ladbrokes have sacked their CEO after 5 years of making a balls of their online department. He was supposed to turn it around to match William Hill's market lead online.
This is another reason why I wouldn't use anyone but Betfair.
Best market odds, and 30 minute settlement of bet. No messing.
    Ladbrokes are finished online.

You see that is why I read the rules of all the bookies before placing my bet with Betfair.
If you read my earlier posts I even got the rules emailed to me, so I would have it in writing; should they settle on a peak not average basis.
The Queen's speech was shown on ITV and BBC1.
Betfair only took the highest of the 2 shows.
    Bet365 added them up.
So that is why I bet with Betfair. I honestly think Bet365 are the worst online bookie, with the worst odds. I don't know why anyone would use them?

    Your a great help.

If you read this thread from the start to finish again, you will see that I am a great help indeed.

I even posted the confirmation of Betfair's rules in the email I got from them.

All the information and help was there.

If people choose to ignore my good tip and advice, then they lose.

It was all there, but some even accused me of being obsessed with the bet.

The thing is, when I have 2,500 on a bet; I don't take any chances. I do my homework, and that includes reading the bookies rules, terms and conditions.

Im sure everyone that took it on willhil or ladbrooks emailed them.

    UK Television Most Viewers Markets
Markets will be settled in accordance with the viewing figures recorded by BARB (Broadcasters Audience Research Board) as found on their website www.barb.co.uk. Bets will be settled on the total viewing figures, where a channel has a HD version e.g. BBC 1 and BBC 1 HD viewing figures will be combined for each programme.

    Bet365 rules.
Seems aload of bollox to me adding up the total for two tv stations.
The problem is they dont seem to have a clue what the rules are themselves.

    No need to.
The rules are on their sites.
I was worried Betfair might settle on peak figures as opposed to average; so I got email confirmation in writing.
They clearly stated in their rules where there would be 2 shows; such as the Queen's speech, only the highest 1 of them would be taken.
You see when I read the rules of other bookies and they didn't state this, I walked away.
People say I was obsessive about this bet, but it won me 2,800 net profit.
I take the time to read the rules, and when I win; I win big.
My advice is use Betfair in future, forget Bet365.
Take it as a hard lesson learned; always read the rules on the market you are betting on.

Bet365 settled according to their rules; they added the 2 shows of the Queen's speech.

Betfair settled according to their rules; they took the highest figure of the 2 shows of the Queen's speech.

If people can't be bothered to read and understand the rules, terms and conditions; then they shouldn't bet on a market.

I wasn't sure about whether Betfair was going to use peak or average figures, so I got email confirmation. That's all it takes, one email.

So people don't read the rules, then come on here and bleat their loses on here after. Its the bookies that are talking bollocks though right?

I read the rules I was the one who brought the rules up a few days ago.

Theres nothing in bet365 rules to suggest they add 2 different stations together .

Listen, I know its hard when you lose.
So I will help you out and give you a nice tip that I am 100% sure is a dead cert.
    Oscars (February 2015) Best Picture-Boyhood.
Trust me, you can bet your life on this.
Its short odds (even on Betfair), but I am 100% it will win.
Now here is the thing, don't bet on Betfair's sportsbook (even though the market is live already).
Wait until the Golden Globes are finished, and then the market will come up on Betfair's exchange with better odds than sportsbook.
Then you can lump on early big before the market odds plummet.
With odds of 1.22 it will be buying money. Trust me.
You can thank me later, but you heard it here first from me.

Just off the phone to bet365.

The guy said "We belive Mrs Browns Boys is the winner but we just waiting for official confirmation before paying out "

So looks like they will be paying out on it.

It says it right there; total.

    Total means total.

When you add one show to another show, that's the total.

    (Average means average).

    (Peak means peak).
