Aguero looks like he knows it's long term. Was it the same knee as before?

    Fabregas suspended.
    Austin suspended.
    Chambers suspended.
    Aguero goosed.

    10 players right now.

Thankfully I have no other injuries or players not starting so I could take no hits and field 11

There isn't that many strikers out there that are actually scoring for fun,
cisse if he was starting every game might be worth a punt, but other than that who is there?

Rooney/Falco maybe but would need to see how they play tomorrow, Benteke could be with a shout but villa don't usually score 2/3 goals a game or even created the chances.

Choice of Rooney, Dzeko or back to Costa effectively.

was it not his hamstring he was holding? the tears could have been because he misses the crunch Roma game. sounds like you have a strong squad, always comes in handy when this unforeseen kinda s**t happens

missing fab and austin but due to this weeks transfer I now have a strong front 8. So I think ill fo fab to mirallas and leave austin on the bench. Im thinking of a chelsea defensive double up for xmas aswell now

Scrap that back to the drawing board.

Dzeko is lacking game time - otherwise he would have been on instead of some chap called Pozo.

Rooney playing deep has got to be a concern.

Already have Costa - though he doesn't look like he's is goalscoring form at all these days.

    He immediately held his knee.

Bags of cash at my disposal and no idea where to spend it. Good job I held off on Austin. I'm going to bench him next week and leave it at a -4 point hit (assuming this week doesn't get any worse), it's going to be a 5 man midfield.

Player value 12.9, resale value 12.4, .5 mil wiped off the team value.

Rooney is playing too deep and is too patchy imho. RVP doesn't hasn't come close to his value in terms of returns. With City's fixture list I think Dzeko is the best bet.

If Aguero's injury is long term, I think I'll take (another) 8 pt hit:
    Chambers-->Zabaleta
    Aguero-->Benteke
    Henderson-->Yaya

As a true bravo, if Aguero is out for a while I'm still leaning towards Chambers out for Terry and starting SGB. Then Aguero can go for Austin once he's back from suspension.

Zab will be rotated with Sagna over Xmas. Kompany, when he's fit again, is the only City defender I'd go for personally.

Am looking at Fab to Hazard, or Yaya, and Aguero to Pelle. Still doesn't garantee me 11 players for next week.

Maybe a hit to off load Chambers might be in order.

    :(

    Try

    Chambers
    Duff
    Schneiderlin
    Fab
    Austin
    Agureo.

Well then. Dunno. That Aguero seems like a bad one. Won't be doing anything till later in the week anyway. Think I might find myself with surplus funds soon enough.

What I wouldn't give for a wildcard now!
Chambers,Fab & Aguero sidelined for next week. Duff & Brady on bench not great replacements.

    Aguero out. Yaya in.

Maybe a sneaky punt to sell my soul for -4 :)

I was hoping to do aguero to Costa and eriksen to yaya but I'm.3 short
going to see how benteke looks tomorrow.......

The Aguero injury is a season changer if he is going to be out for a long time.
There is no obvious choice of replacement so we should see some good variation out there. And people will have a lot of spare cash to invest elsewhere.

If he is out for a while I will move him on for Dzeko (if it looks like he is fit again) and probably upgrade Siggy to YaYa.
Or get rid of Chambers for a City defender.

You might have to take a -4, one is a midfeilder, the other is a forward.

    :D

If Dzeko gets on for a half hour tonight and plays midweek, he has to be considered.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,625 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Aguero and Fab to Costa and Yaya for a hit likely now. Yaya only 8% ownership so could be a decent differential.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,411 ✭✭✭basillarkin

Surely Jovetic is ahead of dzeko in the city pecking order when you see young pozo com e on for augero tonight. would be great if sliva and jovetic were back for hull at the weekend

Only Pelegrini really knows, but young Pozo looks too raw to me. Dzeko is good in that lone forward position. I see he is on now for the last 30 minutes.
I think this is good news and will take a punt on him.

That's exactly what I'm looking at.

Dzeko wasn't fit to come on so early. He is only returning from injury.

ya i heard the commentator say this, he must be seriously considered as a candidate to replace kun so. i would prefer jovetic but looks like he along with silva have an unknown return date from inj.

i had yaya in up to last week but he isn't really a threat as such from open play. he is playing way to deep atm to be considered.
