:( I try to never think about what goes on in any restaurant kitchen.

A chain like In-and-Out Burger would do well in Ireland, everything is cooked fresh to order. Plus there are the legendary 3 x 3 and 4 x 4 burgers. Yummmminey :)

I don't get the In N Out hype at all, it's still a patty on a bap.

I want a big lump of steak on a bun.

    And sweet potato fries.

    And caramelised onions.

    And a gherkin!

the double whopper is bland tastless muck, at least the big mac is tastey, actually the big mac is the only thing in mcdonalds that's delicious

I want half a cow on a bun.

    It's 3 patties in a bap!

    Or 4 if you're peckish!

Four times the pleasure eh? :p

I dunno, maybe it's because their branding is remarkarbly similar to Four Lanterns (McD's of the Northwest to the uninitiated), but I really don't like In N Out.

One thing i prefer about burger king is the flame grilled taste. They cook the beef in a broiler its not pressed like in mc donalds. Why you think the meat is nearly always flat in a big mac.

What ruins the meat is the fact its sitting in trays under heated lamps for a certain amount of time sometimes a lot longer then it should be.

Next time your in burger king check the numbers on the wrap or box.

There marked according to the numbers on the clock and theres around a ten minute time in which they should be binned after been made up and wrapped or boxed.

Your more likely to get a decent burger in there if its busy i find because at least it should be fresher.

Actually if you want to maximize your chances of getting the freshest burger customize it. That way you know it was at least made up there and then. How fresh the meat is depends on a few things.

BK Triple Whopper vs Supermacs 10 ounce burger might be a good contest. About 70g of protein in each afaik.

Nope looked it up there triple whopper has 49g protein and 75g fat.

Delicious, but not a good source of protein, not really much nutritional value in it at all, just a lot of calories.

I agree that the fat content is very high but the protein figure of 49 g above can't be right. I've seen figures of 62-73 g quoted.

Although I can't find official figures for BK stuff online but can for McDonalds and Supermacs

Double cheeseburger from McDonalds (much smaller burger but more cheese than a Triple Whopper) has 26 g protein
10 oz burger from Supermacs has 75.62 g protein

I've never had a Big Mac or a Double Whopper.
Keep it this way. They are the devil's food.

    Supermacs all the way!

    Ugh, neither.

Never liked anything about them, from the floppy, textureless bap to the whilted bits of lettuce to the horrible sauces, nevermind the awful meat.

And here I am, asking if I can choose a Chicken Tendercrisp instead. :pac:
XL Bacon double cheese burger is where it's at. Burger King FTW.

I'd rather a hamburger from BK than a big mac.

Although I'd much prefer an XL bacon double cheeseburger meal tbh, god I'm fcuking hungry now.

Thanks for that - most of the products are lower in protein and higher in fat that I thought. It looks like McDonald's burgers may be better from a nutrition point of view. McD burgers can look small but maybe they are more dense due to being "flattened".

To be honest I'm still skeptical of how good the protein is in the likes of BK and McDonald's. I remember reading a fitness log about a guy who's results improved dramatically when he stopped using processed forms of protein. Could be bro science though I don't know. Main thing is Double Whopper is so much nicer than the Big Mac.

That could be part of the reason people prefer it.

If you have rice krispies everyday for breakfast and someone says every Friday you can have coco pops your gonna be looking forward to them coco pops! They might not necessarily be better than rice krispies but because they are a rarity you think of them in a greater light.

Also BK is miles better then Mc D's but that's beside the point.

Put Chicken Royale on that list, but if I had to choose, I'd take a Double Whopper

Burger king is more expensive and has less variety in its menu.

So not surprising more people go to Mc Donald s

Well it's more down to there being a lot more McDonalds and the brand loyalty that results yada yada. Although it's true BK is slightly more expensive.

Probably the only thing I hold a grudge with BK about is that they charge you 40c extra for adding cheese to a Chicken Royale. :pac:
