    It has already been said but - show offs. As the above poster says people who do the whole one up story telling.
    It's also a sign if someone who is extremely insecure.
    I always want to say to them- Stop showing off and get confident, stupid!

    Obsessed with money, the kind who see absolutely everything in terms of money, a horribly unattractive quality.

    The strange impulse some parents have to be rude and obnoxious to waiting staff to impress their their children.

    They probably think they're passing on life lessons, but they're only passing on lessons on how to plonkers.

    I think the lack of manners in general, saying please and thank you costs nothing.

    People who look down their nose at people, due to being well off, having a false sense of self importantce or just a general douche bag etc
