I hate coming into gameweeks where you haven't had a chance to look at your team. This morning at 11:00 was my first real chance since the start of the week.

I agonised over a one-week punt of Di Maria -> Sanchez, which would have meant doing Sterling -> Eriksen. In the end, my indecision took me over 11:30 and the decision was made for me. So this week I live in fear of not having Sanchez and line up like so:

    Forster
    Chambers Moore Clyne
    Fabregas Di Maria Sterling Siggy
    Aguero Pelle Costa(c)

    50% chance of a CS.

    Cheers.
Just so I understand it fully when the odds are even it means 1/1?
Well I don't know whether I have Ramsey or Fabregas togging out for me today :o

Pressed the make transfer button and brought me straight to the updating page. I guess I'll look forward to my surprise!

As some already told you you should be grand with Fab still in your team.
I reckon though that this last min panic madness was all in "total schyzophrenic control" since you certainly inconsciously knew somehow that it was too late anyway when you finally decided to go for it. Or maybe I'm just speaking out loud my mind too much here :pac:. This game can make you siiiiiick :pac:.

Hmmm. S. Taylor. The one at £3.9m? Is he covering someone injured? Or is he getting regular starts for Newcastle?

Looking at that line up sterling could be up top with Mario. Awkward game for me I want a Liverpool win but have none of their players and have Dummett starting for me. Dummett to sub off at 0 0 on 61 mins with a minor injury before a late lambert winner assisted by Joe Allen too much to ask.

What about a Coutinho unassisted brace coupled with a Sterling OG from a Dummet shot?

I'd say nothing about Krul. He's a dead heavy weight on my team but can't justify a transfer for him at the moment...

Think he is covering for Williamson who is almost back, someone else more in the know could confirm though.

    Mannone
    Bertrand - Jagielka - Wisdom
    ADM - Hazard (c) - Siggy - Tadic
Pelle - Costa - Aguero (vc)

Serious I last minute captain panic but left it on Sanchez.

Often when there are a range of captain options we end up with them all getting 5 or 6 points. If one of Costa, Hazard, Aguero or Sanchez does goes mad it will be a big boost for some, big regrets for others.

May the force be with you all....not sure why a lot of people moving to Hazard at mo...Cesc is motoring along nicely....went with him as Capt as a possible differential.

Fabregas will tip along all season getting the steady streams of assists and the odd goal here and there. In my opinion, he's a great player to have but is never a standout captain choice.

Hazard, on the other hand, could get 2 goals, an assist and 3 bonus against the weaker sides and is therefore a better captaincy choice in a gameweek like this. I'd rather 2 points from a captain that could potentially get me 15 instead of a capatn that should get me 5-7.

    Personal choice.

No Sterling and no Welbeck, if both blank im dancing in the rain but if they don't I'm mighty bother.

Add Sanchez to that now....whiley main rival has taken a -4 another one has shipped ADM for Sanchez which IMO was a goodove but brave given ADM had Palace up next.

I do liek it when there's an early Saturday kickoff.

Up first, Mr. Sterling! I expect about 5 goals in this game.

Sanchez and Hazard have me very worried this GW.

Also have a feeling Obertan will get 5 points minimum and frustrate me as he sits on my bench

Agree with this. On today I could see fab going off early if they are winning to avoid that 5th yellow ahead of next weeks game at Liverpool.

    Schmeichel
    Gibbs Bertrand Baines
    Siggy Hazard Fab ADM
    Pelle Aguero (c) Welbeck

Nervous about Costa and Sterling. It's going to be an interesting day.

Yup I've kept Fab alright so no Ramsey for me.

It was an interesting 5 minutes at 11:25 :pac:

    Wisdom Duff Quinn

Had a dream last night that Baines scored a penalty. I care about this game way too much. :o

I have a dose of the Mr.P's watching Sterling so far... Not so keen on this stance tbh.

You just know Sterling is going to blank.

I'll have 10 played by 5pm today! This Gameweek could be over pretty quick!

Haven't had a goal from a defender for ages, prediction for the week.....Liam Moore for a goal....

Funny you should mention that. I actually fancy Moore to maybe grab a goal this week. He looks decent going forward and scored for England U21s recently.

That said, I thought the same about Kaboul last week and he got one point!

Keeping an eye on him, could be a bargain at 5m if he managed to nail down a place.

Both Newcastle free kicks won by him - they can't keep up with him when he runs. Could be a new Sterling...

    Ameobi as well @ 4.4

Edit: Steven Taylor is doing everything he can to get a yellowm, watch him haha

My main rival has transferred out Sterling, Wanyama and ADM for Jedinak, Tadic and Sanchez and captained the latter. Pretty happy with that, think he's starting to panic a bit. Ulloa, Pelle and Aguero up front and not much behind. Could all go right but I think he's chasing previous week's points, hopefully get some daylight between us now. Aguero, Welbeck and Costa(C) have me quietly confident.

That differential I took a gamble on 3 weeks ago worked out well!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

Is anybody worried about Sanchez's playing time? I haven't checked the stats but Wenger rested him a bit earlier in the season iirc.

I think he might have learned his lesson with Ozil. Ozil has been out of form IMO since he didn't rest him when he badly needed it last year. Playing him out if position doesn't help either.

Chelsea 100% record, QPR 0% away record with Chelsea coming off two poor-ish results should mean a lot of goals. Think it could be Hazard who runs amok but fingers crossed for Costa!

No Sakho for West Ham or Lukaku

    Costa starting? Fantastic!

Started the ox and put siggy on the bench, hope ox finds his form today.

Hopefully the faith in Costa will be worth it.

Think Sterling needs to go. The problem is I have no spare cash so I'm not really sure who to sell him for.

the FIRST time I pick liam Moore and he is dropped :( could do without him losing his place long term too

Southampton: Forster, Clyne, Fonte (c), Alderweireld, Bertrand, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Tadić, Long, Pellè.

    Mané on the bench.
