    Going with this:

    Begovic
    Bertrand Chambers Baines
    Fan Sterling Di Maria Sig
    Berahino Costa(c) Aguero

With City's form of late, no surprise if Utd get a result.

    Guzan
    Coleman Chambers Clyne
    Fab, Sanchez, Sterling, Tadic
    Aguero, Welbeck (c), Pelle

I'm off for a round of golf, assistant is left with the team talk, go get them lads.

Predictions for this GW (completely based on above)
    Chelsea sneak a 2-1 win (fab & mikel :))
    Gunners go nuts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

    Forster
    Chambers Kaboul Moore
    Di Maria Siggy Fabregas Sterling
    Costa (c) Aguero Pelle

Going to stick with Costa captain. Aguero could run riot against a United defence that have been struggling though.

    Forster,
    Clyne, Moore, Chambers
    Fabregas, Hazard, Sanchez (c), Siggy
    Costa, Pelle, Aguero
    Subs: Hamer, Boyd, Duff, Hutton

Gonna stick with Sanchez as captain. Burnleys defensive stats are woeful. Also in having three Chelea attackers it would be banking everything on that game to captain one of them.

Ye it's as cheap as it gets I've hutton and Taylor on the bench aswell. 20.5 on 5 players ill be upgrading over the next few weeks I've been building for this week for a while so it's used up all my transfers of late. Big decisions next week as I'll be selling either Fab or costa going to keep hazard. Then whether to get roo or adm. Week after that it's my defence fair play to you having the discipline to make 2 defensive transfers in a row.

I need a big week this week. Two successive visits to the millionaires club has left my season hanging on a wire.
Lets hope the old reliables do the business this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,044 ✭✭✭Username here

    Mannone (uh-oh!)
    Bertrand Wisdom Jagielka
    Chadli Sanchez Siggy Fab
    Costa (C) Aguero Pelle
    Subs: Krul Diame Bruce Duff

Changes this week were Ramsey & Wilson out, Sanchez & Bruce in.

Knowing my luck, Sanchez will get injured after a couple of minutes, & the Rambot will get a hat-trick. Really need a good week to get back amongst the top 5 in my league.

My plan was that my defence would always do me until around now. Kaboul I went for because Spurs have decent fixtures, Chambers because he's great value at 4.6 for an Arsenal defender.

I'm not sure what to do about Creswell. If he was 5 mil he'd be straight in my team but 5.4 is .4 too much for my liking and bringing him in uses up almost all the 1 mil I have banked.

The other thing is that James Collins is playing for West Ham and is only 4.5. I know he is under threat from Tompkins but Tompkins was passed fit last week on Thursday but failed to make the matchday squad so it appears that Collins is in favour.

I'm certainly going to monitor the situation. A defence of Chambers, Kaboul, Naylor, Collins and Wisdom looks decent to me until January.

That was my plan aswell and id have brought those 2 defs in but sanchez and Hazard have distracted me. Sanchez worked last week so here's hoping hazard does it today.

Well Sterling is next on my chopping block, mainly because Liverpool just aren't the team they were.

I might give him next week against Chelsea though and try bank a transfer going into the international break.

Ye without sturridge they don't look like scoring goals.

Let clean sheet odds decide for ya. Leicester are 2/1. Swansea 9/2.

We have the exact same starting 11 bar your Moore to my Wisdom including captain choice. Went with Pellé (VC). Hoping you have a great week :D

I have Wisdom but benched him. Leicester 2/1 for a CS and WBA 3/1 so I went with Moore.

Could be his last week in my team so would be a nice parting gift!

Hopefully Wisdom can nick the points and that will make the decision that much easier for you ha!

    Hazard Sanchez (c) Diame Obertan
    Aguero Pelle Costa
    (Krul Naylor Cattermole Duff)
Still undecided if I should play naylor instead of obertan

I don't have Costa but I have Baines and Welbeck instead.

    Mulling over ADM to Hazard

    Baines, Kaboul, Bertrand
    ADM, Siggy, Hazard (c), Sterling

Everyone is waiting with baited breath for Hazard to explode with FF points but isn't it the same every season, he is IMO sporadic with returns but Fab returns on a consistent basis so far.

I don't see the rush to swap the two really.

Looking at my defenders CS odds,

    Ivan 0.6, Clyne 0.4, Wilson 0.33, Wisdom 0.25, Naylor 0.18.
I'm debating Wilson vs Wisdom. The second has better attacking potential.

Chambers has even odds though. What does it mean exactly? He's 1/1?
So tempting to get ihim in for 1 week. Must resist wasting a transfer. Must resist.

Need to get rid of silva but for who can't afford sanchez have fab and costa so would hazard be overkill. Have siggy and sterling and a nobody with fab. Ta

Stuck betwwen Vlaar at home to Spurs or JOShea away to Palace. By virtue of having Eriksen in my 11 is it always better to pick JOS here so as not to have an attacker on defender situation even though i feel Villa are marginally more likely to keep a CS?

I'll have 10 played by 5pm today! This Gameweek could be over pretty quick!

I'll take that or even just a clean sheet!
This could be a big week for me......I have both Costa and aguero as well as wellbeck. nobody above me in main league has same combo as they have pelle and some also have berhainho. baines sterlinh and siggy are also differentials for me
However I don't have fabregas hazard or Sanchez......
    still I'm optimistic :)

Clean sheets from the big clubs scarce this year. City Arsenal and Chelsea defender on my team. Wouldn't say I got three clean sheets each all year.

Well I don't know whether I have Ramsey or Fabregas togging out for me today :o

May the force be with you all....not sure why a lot of people moving to Hazard at mo...Cesc is motoring along nicely....went with him as Capt as a possible differential.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 15,249 Mod ✭✭✭✭FutureGuy

    Right.

Brought in Hazard and captained him. A little risky on paper but I have given it alot of thought this morning.

    1) I think Sanchez is a good bet vs Burnley but he had two goals gifted to him last week and I really want Walcott as my Arsenal coverage after the international break. No point in getting him and getting him out again.
    2) Hazard has been below par but the stats favour him. He's on penalties and up against a QPR side who could ship penaties/free kicks with Dunne and Caulker up agaisnt the speedy Chelsea attackers.
    3) In the back of my head, Arsenal could struggle today as they have sometimes put in terrible performances against the weaker teams at home, and I already have Welbeck.
    4) I need that extra 0.6m in terms of my next 2 transfers.
    5) I think Hazard could be the safest bet for an explosive captain return this week.
    6) If ADM does score, then we have scored against City :D
