As bad as Liverpool are, most good things this season will come through Sterling, so wouldn't get rid of him.

I'd keep ADM - everything goes through him atm.

I wouldn't be too keen on getting rid of Fab, but if you want Hazard, then i'd get rid of Fab as wouldn't fancy having the 2 of them.

This is the problem this week. A few players worth bringing in, no clear cut contender to drop. I want to cut Siggy but as pointed out elsewhere before Leicester at home would be asking for hurt.

I know adm is central to MU but with their tough fixtures he is liable to see less of the ball in the opposition half. Certainly can't see them scoring a hatful against Chelsea.

As for Hazard, there is a case for having both him and fab for next two weeks if Costa remains out. Fab would be moved on then probably for Walcott.

So I'm edging toward ADM to Hazard and two FTs next week if that turns out to be a horrible mistake!

Really unsure of my next move. I can't help but feel it will be an important move.

Team is as follows. 0.0m in bank, 2FTs.

    Forster - McCarthy

    Baines - Wisdom - Wilson - Moore - Duff

    Sterling - Cesc - ADM - Siggy - Boyd

    Costa - Aguero - Welbeck

    My 2 main priorities are:
    - Could do with improving a few defenders
    - A southampton attacker

I think my issue is that I have zero in the bank. I need to free up funds somehow and the only real way to do this is to downgrade one of my attacking players.

So I see my options as the following:
    1. This week, ADM out for Tadic. Next week, could upgrade Siggy, Welbeck and/or a defender.
2a. This week, go Costa to Pelle. Next week, dump ADM and Welbeck, and get Costa back, plus another midfield for ~9.0 (Eriksen, prob), depending on how much Costa drops.
2b. This week, go Costa to Pelle, and ADM to Eriksen and next week switch Welbeck out for Costa. (I feel it could be quite dodgy getting rid of both Costa and ADM in the same week!)

My thinking at the minute is to go with just Costa to Pelle this week. That will leave me with 2 transfers next week, and the freedom to get Costa back in for Welbeck. Although I can't help thinking that if I'm going to get rid of ADM I should do it this week!

Anyone care to point me in the right direction?! Is there a right direction?!

Naylor and Costa out for Baines and Berahino. Will assess how Eriksen gets on against Newcastle before deciding whether or not to bring him in.

Chadli or barkley? Any other ~6m mids worth considering?

Barkley played 90 mins tonight which means naismith will surely start on sunday. Chadli it is i guess. He will start wont he?

Very good points, hard to argue with any of it.

I made my moves on Sunday, and I was cursing the fact that I was so impatient. When i really analyse things though, I was right to get pellé for ulloa in before his price took off, DDG to lloris was a no - brainer, and sterling to Chadli was necessary to fund it all.

It has also had the added bonus of taking the decision out of my hands, as I don't know what the heck I would like to do if I had waited til now.

@fhfc id definitely ditch adm out of those three. Chelsea are always rock solid against big teams, I wouldnt be at all surprised if they kept a clean sheet. Then city and arsenal away to follow are both difficult games. Perhaps im being a bit wishful but i think its gonna be a bad month for utd, id be very surprised if adm outscored sterling or fab over the next four games

i went for jags/eriksen from sterling/alderweireld and i already regret it!

if i bring in walcott in a couple of weeks, i cant get a defender above 4.7 and there's no real quality ones i can see for that price

Do people really think that Man Utd don't have the attacking capacity to get atleast a few goals between the Chelsea, Arsenal and City games? Risky to be on the dropping ADM boat imo.

These points match up and as you said no point in keeping ADM this week if going move next week,as you have 2 FT
but only if set on player (i'm doing it next week as took a hit already)

The question is will ADM score more than Sterling, Fabregas, Hazard across these fixtures. There has to be less chance of him scoring multiple goals and assists I'd think.

Yeah the only reason I'd hold back for a week, is it will keep my options open next week as to which of my mids I drop. It'd be a shame to drop ADM this week, only for one of the other to pick up an injury.

on my wildcard now and only decision I can't make is which 2 to pick for my main midfielders.

    1.Sanchez/Hazard
    2.Hazard/Dimaria
    3.DiMaria/Sanchez

also have Dimaria bought for 9.7

I dont think theyll win any of them, and i think theyll score 3 or 4 goals over the 3 games. Look at chelseas record against bigger teams last season, i dont think they conceded a goal away from home. Chelsea are probably the most likely team for a clean sheet this weekend. Also, since theyre big games, lvg will probably have to adopt a more cautious approach to avoid conceding too many. Adm played a slightly deeper role against wba and id imagine theyll be as cautious, if not more, over the next month

Did adm not play a more attacking role.

Dropped Costa and brought in Lukaku.

Costa out Augero IN for next few GW
    Larsson out Chadl IN

Happy with team now. 0.4 in the bank. Ivanovic for either Baines/Coleman next week

just did ADM --> Hazard and Ulloa --> Berahino. Team now looking like this:

    Starting XI
    Forster
    Wisdom, Clyne, Hutton
    Fab, Sterling, Siggy, Hazard
    Costa(V), Berahino, Aguero(C)

    Subs
    McCarthy, Schneiderlin, Wilson, Duff.

Hope to god I made the right transfers!

I phrased that wrong. He was on the left of a 433 with rvp in the middle and januzaj on the right so its actually a very attacking role, but what i meant was that the whole team were sitting very deep, particularly in he first half. There seemed to be a focus on trying to contain west brom rather than attacking with reckless abandon. I expect theyll adopt a similar approach in upcoming games. Adm is obviously a brilliant player, and will pose a threat no matter what, but i expect united to be more cautious over the next few games, at least until they go behind.

I'm selling adm for the next 2 weeks was always the plan but was having 2nd thoughts when he was part of a front 3. Didn't see the wba game so can't comment on that. I'd have no problem getting adm back in before the arsenal game as Utd always seem to have the measure of them. I'm also keeping an eye on what happens when rooney comes back.

I have two to use, otherwise I might have banked it.

I'm probably gonna use only one and bank the other one.

I am in the same boat - currently have Sanchez and Hazard. Will be def holding onto Hazard but still unsure about Sanchez.

I know. But I have an additional 0.2 to get him back. Hopefully this will be enough and Jose doesn't pull a fast one.

Could be more mind games.... A "little chance" could actually mean no chance!
For one that kept Costa I hope he plays and scores a hattrick!!!
