I'd buy two new fronts and put your current fronts on the back, that'd be what most garages would do.

Or if cash is tight i'd get two matching part worns for the rear for the time being.

I wouldn't be gone on that set-up on the rear at the moment, particularly if you aren't using the load space and the van is very light at the back.

Yep I think I will buy two turanzas over Christmas and put them on the front and move the current to the back that way it would be 4 of the same tyres all good. Tbh I only realised it had two different tyres today when I checked I would always try keep them the same on each axle. I normally have some stuff thrown in the back but it would be a bit light alright.

Anyone else bounce outta bed this morning in the hope of some ice and snow automotive divilment. Sorely disappointed here in limerick. Only thing frozen was my windscreen.

I'm praying it waits for me to get my turbo back on :)
I love me some snow drifting :D

Purely for safety research purposes of course, learn how your car behaves in ice and snow.

    Good luck! :-)

Thanks, I'm in two minds about it. Number one I'm way too comfortable where I am so it's the nervous factor I suppose of switching.
And number two I need to have a few days off at the end of March and time off for when the child is born at the end of May, I don't know whether I should mention it at the interview or just say it after I get it (if I do).
    Opinions?

    Just remember :

"I am a dedicated and conscientious problem solver, with the patience and diligence to see a project through to a successful completion, even if there are some secondary problems along the way"

"there was this Honda you see..."

edit - don't mention the hols unless it's in the bag, a done deal.

I think you may have a point about not mentioning holiday plans until they actually offer me the job.

In the absence of any GT 86 magic and getting of holding my breath I went and bought a super rare and brilliantly named Rsr concept magic cat back for my own Toyota :-)
Better pics tomorrow and hopefully a video if I get it glued on...

Every so often we have a nutter with a heavily boosted Skyline shooting up the hill into Camlough from the Bessbrook side.

I walked out at the right time to hear this very unusual engine flying up the hill, followed by another unusual engine.

    M5 V10 followed by a Nissan GT-R :D

Aural pleasure for the day

It's also my mission to build something in the not too distant future that will go up that hill as fast as those 2....

Are you living near there DGT? I spend most summers in Bessbrook.

There is also a few nice Bentleys, AMG's and Astons that buzz up and down that road

Was in galway today so priced tyres (205/55R16 so not exotica)

Tried Advance for the laugh. They didn't disappoint. €95 EACH for Barums and €115 each for Continentals.

How do people actually deal with them

And I am back, sorry for the late response here. I've done rather a few miles since yesterday in the car - I'm still smiling. It is awesome. A completely different feel to the RCZ. It drives, sounds and looks amazing. Noticed a couple of people taking photos today around Ballsbridge and Ranelagh, so I'm watching forums now to see if any pop up :o Really did turn a lot of heads today, and got a few nice comments.
There are a few things that I am going to dive right into sorting. Just a few aesthetic blemishes, the alloys are kerbed quite more than I'm happy to live with, and the leather on the driver's seat bolster is scratched - otherwise, though, its flawless, and I'm just still in a semi state of awe still.

    So, whens the next meet!?

The 4 cylinder one is there for a few quid less. Might get one of them for something to do on Xmas day.

I can't remember to be honest!

There was a lack of votes and nomination not that the winners didn't deserve them. I'll be voting and nominating anyway.

I've been let down the even and have decided to enter an alcoholic beverage dispensing place for a few pints on my own some .

Bar tabs though are very much ftw this festive season
