Chelsea kept a clean sheet at city pool arsenal and Utd last yr. I'd actually be more confident of Chelsea keeping a CS in the big games as opposed to games against the rest.

    Sorted.

    Forster (Hamer)
Hutton, Chambers, Duff ( Clyne, Moore)
Siggy, Fab, Sterling, Di Maria (Boyd)
    Ade (C), Costa, Pelle

Benching Clyne to spread the risk, otherwise would probably play him ahead of Hutton.

    Here's to 0-0 in Villa v Arsenal...

Thanks for all the answers lads.

I put Pieters on the bench. Though between him and Clyne it's a tough enough decision. They both can offer attacking points but play away. Clyne has a tougher game though...

    --- edit

Ah well it's too late anyway.

    Begovic

    Chambers
    Azpilicueta
    Evans
    Lovren

    Fabregas
    Mata
    Sanchez

    Rooney
    Costa
    Welbeck (c)

Ooooo big call benching Pieters in my opinion. Stoke have a much better chance to beat QPR than Southampton have of beating the Swans.

It is either a clean sheet with boring 1-0 score or a crazy 6-3 game. I hope it is going to be the second option.

    De Gea
    Caulker - Bardsley - PVA
    Mata - Ramsey - Fabregas - Siggy
    Costa - Pelle - Rooney (C)

    Bench: Clyne, Coloccini, Marney

It's not inconceivable that I'll have 2 clean sheets on my bench but as of now it's the right choice to go with the 3 I started. Half my defenders will have played by 3 which will go one way or the other.

Held off on Ramsey -> Mirallas too which is in keeping with playing it safe. Going against these urges will only get harder from now on I reckon. I'm not expecting anything special from this GW anyway just hoping to get through it relatively unscathed.

FYP. But yeah realised that too late after putting Ivan on the pitch...

    Wildcard team:

    Mignolet

    Coloccini Bertrand N.Taylor

    Ramsey Fabregas Sigurdsson Sterling

    Pelle Aguero (C) Costa (VC)

Subs: Hamer, Wilson, van Aanholt, Boyd

For some reason I fancy a good few Liverpool clean sheets in the coming weeks, hence Mignolet.

I'm going to have a number of headaches with who to play in defence each week but that's the way it goes when you go for so many cheap options and I'd rather use the extra money elsewhere as the big defenders aren't doing the business as of yet. I could easily see the two sub defenders keeping clean sheets and the other three not, typical. :pac:

If it doesn't work out with the above team, at least I went with my gut feelings on it I guess.

    Good luck all.

    Both as it happens.
    But Arnie will be back

Don't have any players in the first game so a 1-1 with Kranjcar and Moses scoring would be nice :)

Went with Naismith this could be another disaster or a stroke of genius...

Aguero captain, massive Differential if it works but I'm worried already.

Alot in my cash league have Di Maria as captain so while I have him I hope he doesn't go mental.

Anyone else on Welbeck (c) ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,489 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Anyone else on Welbeck (c) ?

    Yep

    only in Ultimate though....

Anyone else on Welbeck (c) ?

Nope. I'm a United fan, Welbeck nearly scores all the time. He's just not good enough. It would take two 20 goal seasons to convince me otherwise.

Please feel free to quote me later. :pac:

    Went for it this week....

Sterling (C) ; Ramsey, Siggy, Larsson
    Costa; Aguero; Naismith

    1st Sub: Cesc

I just have too strong a feeling MC/Che will be 0-0 so went for differentials.

I feel he might be another Sturridge who comes to another team and starts scoring goals (and playing). I will wait to see how he performs before I even consider getting him in, not to mention giving him the armband tbh.

He was close to score few times, let's see how it goes today.

    Diouf :)

    Crouch assist

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Well that confirms that anyway.

Caulker you have about 75 minutes to score me a goal because you're shipping out in the morning and I'm not sure when we're going to see each other again.

Aye the bittersweet about Diouf scoring for me is I also have Caulker -not for much longer though I reckon, esp with 2 free transfers incoming this week
