    ugh.

there goes most of the likelihood of a Taylor cleanie and a Siggy goal/assist.

All eggs in the Welbeck captaincy basket

Could prove to be a masterstroke or an unmitigated disaster

Fair fcuks lad. I have in my team but didn't have the balls to captin him. Had a feeling arsenal would get a few today. Hopefully they hang on but if any team knows how to shoot them selves in the foot it's arsenal

I reckon every serious player will have one of Welbeck or Pelle for the majority of the season, two stand out 3rd striker options. Would be hard to justify not having one of them

What about those who have 3 big forwards?

Welbeck was available at 6.9 when he joined.. He's now 7.1 and will undoubtedly shoot up again this week.. At that price, it was too goodbye to ignore in my view as he'll get goals with this admittedly at times shaky arsenal side

Sounds like Welbeck and Ozil are on the same wavelength

Said it at the start of the season when Ozil is played in his favored role he will be a bargain at 9.0.

If Naismith doesn't come up with the goods, it could be him to Welbeck next week

    gotta love BBC reporting:

    Phil Neville
"There was a five minute period where Arsenal were devastating, but other than that Aston Villa have been the better side, they've created more chances and I think they're really unlucky to be going in at half-time 3-0 down

    Guy Mowbray
"It could conceivably have been five or six for Arsenal. There is something about Villa Park that Arsenal love. They are unbeaten in their last 15 games here and it will take something of a miracle to see them beaten here today

Can't see there being a big enough gap between say Rooney/Sturridge/Falcao and Welbeck/Pelle to justify 3-4m price difference, assuming most will have Aguero and Costa as their big two

3 bps for captain Danny would be nice

Looking at the highlights from the first half and Ramsey came close once or twice. Was that him at the back post for the own goal too?

Doubled up on Sunderland at the beginning of the season with Mannone and Vergini and due to chasing injuries, I haven't got to sort it. So if they could hold out, that'd be great :pac: Somehow sitting at 123k ranked including this problem.

Leaving Coloccini on the bench was remains a wise decision. Clyne on the other hand....

I'm going to throw this out there: Aaron Ramsey seems to be a little off form, the bits of "luck" when in the right place at the right time aren't sticking. I've been noticing it over the last few weeks. It sounds like he could have had 2/3 goals today so far.

Time for the FPL gods to do your thing
