The annoying thing is they said before they had a team of guys dedicated to network infrastructure. Servers are awful but wouldn't even be so bad if their main single player mode didn't rely on online servers.

I got into the park a while ago but only 3 players even though the l2 list was full of players. Gonna stick to career mode a while.

The app mynba2k15 is on aandroid store now. I got 1800vc from it a while ago.

Seems if you lose connection to the servers during a career game it nulls and voids it.

I was FOUR seconds away from finishing a game last year when the screen changed like a cut scene was coming.

Another thing I noticed in career which is a bit stupid is the timeout use/retention.
Opposing team using time outs to get you into the game.

If you watch the number of timeouts, normally both teams have 1 left before the 3rd quarter is even over.
Teams keep at least 2/3 for the last few minutes of the 4th, you wouldn't blow them all before the 3rd is even over.

Might change as you become a starter but it's an issue as of now.

What's more annoying is the STILL atrocious passing. I usually use stick control or icon passing but in a split second situation, I just press a direction to the only guy under the basket instead my guy tries to pass it to the furthers awa guy in the corner with 2 guys around him, instant turnover. 5 TO's in my last game because of abysmal passes I didn't want to do.

Also, my team can't score open layups if I pass them the ball, they play like absolute dopes where as the opposition make the most impossible shots, 3pt fade aways, crazy contact layups. My teammate grade is like 62 so I'm sure once I get to 80's it will play better but headwrecking at the moment.

Finally got into My Park with other players. Now that was a laugh. Not long waiting and good teammates, we just had fairly poor stats so not the flashiest game but got the job done. After it I went into the store and bought the Irish vest, awful decision 650VC I'll never see again, looks awful!

It's annoying alright.

Tbh the whole engine needs to go, it's very rigid in most ways.

Can you dribble off a restart in the park.
I always have to pass as do most others.
I think I was able in the first game I played so doubt it's cause I'm a SG.

Have noticed some ppl able to.
It's making fouls in 3v3 an advantage as the initial player can't move and has to pass.

A plus I will say is being able to play off ball in career.
Theyll run plays like the opposition always have so you're not forced into playing the PG to get the ball.
That should always have been there though.

In my Park, yeah i had to pass after a foul was very weird i couldn't dribble. If any of ye see me on and fancy a park game send me an invite.

Disappeared . Used it all up on attributes and jump shot styles etc. It kept the jump shots and dunk moves o bought but no attributes. Figured it was too good to be true I was a 85 rsted player snd still in rookie season. Weird bug maybe?

In case you need it.. Sony are offering refunds to anyone who bought a digital version.

Seems like a lot of people are having problems playing with the servers not working.

I would nearly take this if I didn't buy on the US store! Can only afford 1 game before Christmas and decided on this, kinda sickened.

The game deserves bad reviews at this stage for the servers.

The park is such a mess.

It's laughable to go in trying to play.
Stuck when trying to ready, stuck when coming off a ready.
Constant disconnections.
Unable to so anything bar restart the game from stuck positions.

I think the community are going to have to form unofficial colours for the Rec centre, you can get by in a 3v3 with random colours but 10 players with brown shirts is overkill.

The game deserves bad reviews at this stage for the servers.

I haven't tried jordan rec centre yet but yeah the amount of Brown shirts is crap but it's a given on release, especially today when thousands of European Brown Shirts jump on. Change yer tops people!

I only saw one game going on there early yest.
And they both had matching kits... One team I'd came across a fair bit in the shooters park.

Then last night there was about 100 ppl all bunched and sticking without anything working.

It won't work unless some colour scheme takes off.
Regular parks can survive either way but 10 man needs structures.

Well this is starting to come around. Now a starter and teammate grade 69, my squad are starting to make shots after i give em a pass. Nearly got triple doubles the last 3 games. The coach grade is absolutely crap though. Most of them the time i really don't want know what je wants me to do and then he either wants me to 'shoot often and quickly' to 'run down the clock, shoot late'. The latter came when we were losing. Bizarre. Fu*k Coach

Was so close to picking this up today but I remembered the problems with the servers and said I'd try to hold out another week until I see/hear some more reviews regarding same.

Those who have played it, what are your opinions on the game as a whole so far? Much difference from last year?

Hard to say. In some ways it's miles better and some ways it's the exact same. The gameplay is definitely improved, but defending a guy feels like you have become drunk and if you move one way, it takes 3 seconds to move back. Being a 6'2 PG, i should be moving much quicker. My speed and quickness are 80 so will def be trying to get them to 90.

The passing is still crap, very rarely passes to the guy you want unless you use pass stick or icon pass.

Rebounds have been greatly improved imo.

Commentating isn't as good as last year at all. Something really lacking with them.

My career story moving slowly not much happening but i read it really kicks in in season 2 (good thing you only play half of the 1st season).

So far its like last year, one day i love it, one day i hate it

The Park seems miles better this year. When the servers start working properly, it will be addictive levelling up and unlocking clothes, moves, emotes etc.

The coin return in the park needs balancing.

You get about 15-20 for a loss and near 200 for a win.
I had a run yest where I ended up losing about 8 in a row... Made about 100 coins, waste of time.

The win bonus needs to drop and ratings upped.

It seems the colour scheme for matches in the rec centre is starting to dawn on some.
Still it just takes a few brown shirts to ruin it for the rest since theyre free to take positions... Be nice if they stopped ppl taking positions in the 5v5 without the set colour.

Agreed, also it's crap (but realistic I spose) how your rep goes down when you lose. I had a few games last night, was a good laugh, very close games. Then it was just the 2v2 courts were full and had people waiting and 3v3 was always short 1 or 2. The 2v2 is crap, imo, especially as I can't dribble when the ball is checked and have to pass it yet the PF I was playing with was able to dribble fine. We played these 2 guys with matching Yellow Cavs vests who had a 4 win streak. They were just throwing Oops to each other no problem, even if I knew it was coming and guarding the oopee, jumping with him, couldn't do anything to stop it. They were winning 8-nil and we came back to win 15-9, unreal game but I much prefer 3v3.

Ya I don't get it, I'm pretty sure in my first game I was able to dribble.

From what I recall if I faked one side I wasn't able to dribble but it let me once I didn't to that side first.

Ever since I can't, as have most others.... but have noticed a few able.

You get a 300 bonus for winning a rival game.

Was on a nice 3 game streak and heading for 4 a while ago when it froze and crashed.

For the 3rd time today... regardless of the improvements it's still crashing a hell of a lot.

Just noticed the crew gear is free, its LB/L1 once from first screen... ffs even more of a reason for ppl not wearing odd colours in crew/5v5.
I had bought a green tee initially.
