Another massacre today by the apartheid state of Israel, 40 people so far, women and children included. Many more injured

Reports are stating the a crowd of some 35,000 tried to storm the border, hence the use of force.

Sometimes I wonder with these people in Gaza. It hasn't worked the last 1000 times, why do they think it will work the next time? Because Hama pulls the strings and are only too glad for the publicity.

Only as regards Israel would apologists be criticising unarmed protesters for getting shot protesting the theft of their land and the US move to stop any peaceful meeting of minds.

What would you suggest they do then? Just quietly sit by while Israel takes their land?

Two state solution recommended Palestines have their capital in East Jerusalem. Trump ignored that and declared Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Trump declaration only made things worse in the region.

Trump is allowing Israel to do what it likes in the region, this is very dangerous. Will Nikki Haley demand sanctions for Israel for killing unarmed women and children?

Surely there are more than two options than, sit quietly or storm a heavily armed border and be killed.

Is their evidence for this claim? Israel said the same last time and video emerged showing protesters far away from the border fence when they got shot indiscriminately.

The israelies could always take the option not to shoot unarmed civilians who pose no immediate threat.

Sure, 35,000 people were gathering to have a fiesta!
Of course there was going to be trouble. The IDF even warned them this morning to stay away.

When are they going to be a threat then, when they are through the fence?

The border has a buffer zone. The army are never going to let 35,000 people just waltz up to it and do what ever it wants.

Blame Hamas for directing this farce and putting its own people in danger again.

You are allowed to protest when your unarmed or do you not agree with that? Have you video showing protestors a few feet from the border fence?

While Hamas certainly aren't doing anything to help this situation, i think some of the soldiers who fired indiscriminately into a crowd that included women and children hold a fair amount of the blame.

This is nonsensical comment because the protest is about recognising Jerusalem as Israel Capital. Everyone knew this would be an issue but Trump went ahead anyway. Did Hamas tell all these people to protest or they just come to this area to vent their own anger? Israel will always blame Hamas while ignoring the real grievances the Palestinians have.

Israel wounded 1,000 people and still increasing that nuts if you think about it.

These are people, people who are protesting, not an army, to my understanding they where not armed. To suggest that Israel are justified in the action is to suggest you do not believe Palestinians have civil rights.

I blame the people who pull the trigger because they are the ones responsible.

Just saw this from the IDF.
IDF spokesperson not giving any ground on the levels of Palestinian fatalities from live fire. "We do not target anyone who does not pose a threat, either by trying to tear down the fence or run into Israel."

What about the children, the double amputee in a wheelchair and 6 journalists so far!

No other country in the world would be allowed use live fire on unarmed civilians.
UN are useless, the US is complicit.

International law, human rights. None of it matters when it's Israel murdering people.
Israel also dropped a few bombs on gaza today.

Israel buys it's friends. The international community needs do more than boycott Soda Stream.
The ironic thing is if this was happening in Iran there would be talk of going to war.

Closer to fifty now. Speaking of Apartheid, the Sharpeville massacre involved the death of 69 people for comparison.

Join a peaceful protest and be killed is always an option.

Why is it I don't believe them?

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

The Israeli ambassador should be expelled and we should withdraw our Embassy staff.

No, that is wrong. Tel Aviv is Israel's capital and is remaining as one.
Did Hamas tell all these people to protest or they just come to this area to vent their own anger?

Yes, they did actually. Hamas organised this protest as a "Great March of Return" Hamas of course would not put themselves in danger though.

A peaceful protest that starts burning tyres, hurling stones, firebombs at security personal, while some try and plant explosives by the border, is not peaceful.

RTE report that the guy in the wheelchair was earlier photographed with a sling shot.

Does it strike anyone as odd why you would start burning hundreds of tyres at a "peaceful protest" ?

So what do you suggest the Palestinians do while the world watches Israel and America break international law ? Serious question btw

    That justifies shooting him?

You might want to tell the Israeli government that,as they have treated Jersualem as their capital since 1950.This wasn't much of an issue until the Israeli government claimed the entire city as their capital (rather than just West Jerusalem) in 1980.

Let's all go to Rome and take it over, Catholics only mind.

The US has blocked an independent UN investigation into the Israeli killings.
Netanyahu claims all of Jerusalem for Isreal, so much for peace. The man is obviously not interested. His PR against Iran is shown to be even more disingenuous.

They used snipers on protesters. Some had sling shots and threw stones. Some did nothing at all. Shot dead for throwing a stone.
No country with any sense of morality should be dealing with the Israeli's in any form.
