Great performance by Cora, she had to take control of the panel given the rest have their heads in the sand as there are two lives involved.

Alison supports abortion and it ended up with Cora having to ask certain questions.

In the UK some babies do be born alive from abortion and left to die, this is what Ivana wants it seems.

The woman in this case was treated brutally by the state.

    That's not what Ivana wants.

Irish women go to Britain every year for abortions. Something which people here just continue to ignore.

Sometimes, unfortunately, a choice has to be made. The so-called pro-life people just pretend that this never happens. It does happen and we have seen it happen.

The anti-choice side just can't answer the question when it comes to tough situations like in this case.

They have been proven time and time again to be wrong in relation to every law enacted on abortion since the 1983 amendment.

Babies have rights in this country thankfully

Hopefully we never got down the UK route of social abortion

So a raped woman should be forced to continue the pregnancy until full term?

She said she wanted the British model.
Dozens of babies born alive and left to die every year in England, this is the reality.

There was that case in Italy where an aborted baby was found to be still alive a day after the abortion and breathing and was left to die. It was 2 days after the abortion that the baby died as he wasn't given any assistance.
The abortion industry is barbaric and backwards.

Any time this debate comes up on tv shows, it always strikes me how much venomous hatred that women in the pro-life camp show towards other women who have been raped or have fetuses with fatal-fetal abnormalities and who want a termination. The absolute mania they display that fetuses in these cases must be born no matter what and no matter the physical and mental cost to the woman involved is stunning.

Yes due to the x case legislation.

Yes and it always strikes me that I wouldn't have a child near any of the anti-choice lot that pops up when this issue gets media attention...William Binchy, Caroline Simmons, all of the Catholic clergy and the woman on the panel tonight, Cora Sherlock.

Because they wouldn't have killed it from conception?

Yes. If that's what the woman wants, then yes, she should be entitled to an abortion.

You seek to force the woman to have a baby, something she doesn't want to do. Appalling attitude in my opinion - no regard or empathy for the woman.

Well yes, the catholic church and their lay-flunkies have no right to pontificate about children or women given the treatment meted out over the decades in this backward country.

If men could get pregnant, we wouldn't even be having this argument.

Because they like killing as in joining armies, drug gangs, terrorists and so on?

Thanks, I wouldn't want to be in the group who think it is ok to kill human life.

I wouldn't want to be in a group that thinks it's ok to torment rape victims.

Caroline Simmons.. I don't know if I can handle this. How many lies can she fit in?

Should she not be down The Dome?

What did Caroline mean by "it seems this is what we're hearing"? Is she hoping this is all an hallucination?
