If you want to use your own background for the Boards group or any group for that matter;

Just place the image in the default Game DVR folder on Windows 10 which should be C:\Users\USERNAME\Videos\Captures then click on Game DVR in the W10 Xbox app sidebar and you should see your image there with the option to upload. You'll have to lie and tag it as any old game before it allows you to upload it.

Then back on your console, whilst in the background edit option, select screenshots and your image should be there.

Here's one I made earlier:



Now, anyone good with Photoshop or GIMP to create a nice Boards background?

It's only a matter of time before there are groups with nsfw backgrounds

How do you get added to the boards.ie group btw?

Can we just have a group for people with Elite Controllers and one for the filthy peasants, em I mean the others

If you're in the preview, then search for "Boards Xbox Group", then click request invite.

I've received two updates within the last 24hrs and clubs/lfg still aren't there. Anyone else in the same boat?

What's your build number? They're currently flighting two different builds, one with the new features, and one with bug fixes for the old version.

rs1_xbox_rel_1608.160907-1800 is the old version, with the latest bug fixes.

rs1_xbox_rel_1610.160901-1900 is the new version, with the Clubs and LFG.

If you are on the old version, then there's not much you can do unfortunately. Considering that the most recent update for the 1608 version just had "Miscellaneous bug fixes", then I'd say that they're very close to finishing testing on that path.

The Xbox Beta app was updated last night, and it now supports LFG and Clubs. Nicely integrated actually.

EDIT: Also, as there's no sign up for people with the Xbox Beta app, everyone can now get into the Boards club if they want. Just download it from the Windows store and sign in.

I just sent a request to join is there a limit to how many different clubs you can be in ?

I think, from what I remember when setting the club up, that you can only set up three clubs, but you can be a member of 100.

Just an FYI for everyone on 1610, regarding Forza Horizon 3.

We’ve identified an issue in the current 1610 Preview update which impacts game save data for Forza Horizon 3. Users who pre-ordered the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition will receive early access beginning tomorrow (9/22), and we will be releasing a new 1610 Preview update tomorrow morning (estimated 11:00 AM PDT) to fix this issue.

For Preview users who have access to Forza Horizon 3 prior to the release of this new 1610 Preview update (New Zealand and Australia), please be aware that until your console has downloaded the latest 1610 Preview update, you may lose saved progress in Forza Horizon 3.

This issue occurs when reaching a certain threshold of game save data and is impacted saving career progress, saving screenshots, and importing designs from previous Forza titles. Please be aware that when saving career progress this issue will not indicate an error is present, however, upon restarting the game saved progress may be lost.

Thank you for your understanding and we will communicate more as we push out the new build with the fix over the next 24 hours.

Basically, if you're on 1610, then don't bother playing Forza Horizon 3 until you get the newest build, released later today.

Can anyone tell me why they did away with the achievement leader board thing. You know the one that's tells you top earners in the month etc..

Pretty sure it's back in there now, but it's pointless as it's pretty difficult to get to.

This was updated over the weekend, is it still causing you crashes?

Mine was buggy as all hell until the update!

EDIT: On version 3.1610.0923 from Friday 23rd and it sorted out my random crashes

Anyone having trouble with the sky go app? I can't access a video on it for the last few days and I'm guessing it has something to do with the preview program. I meant to leave the program last month and all but forgot lol
