This one has been doing the rounds on radio lately, with the same guff about how her older children are totes amazing and one works IN HAWAII!!! Her husband is a teacher, so that's a bit of a contradiction - the school system is good enough for the family to earn money from but not good enough for their children. I can't imagine the sense of entitlement her special snowflakes exude.

I think the issue was that she didn't have her kids registered to be home schooled, rather than just home schooling, or something like that.

There you have it..they didnt fill out a form and the powers that be came down like a ton of bricks on them... soft touch for some public servant with a god complex.

Yes, its this. The government need to know that all the children in the State are being educated and that's why her children need to be registered, either for home school or national school - that's not nannying, thats making sure the child is educated to a particular level

I'd accept it. It's a regulation that was introduced to prevent rampant abuse (which would have happened, just look at motor tax), and just like the NCT if it means better cars on the roads and not the sh1theaps that were running around here in the 80's and 90's then that's fine by me.

I don't agree wit hpaying €710 motor tax for a 2 litre car, but I do, there's a load of other things I don't agree with here but I do anyway.

She is insufferable. She's got a fierce sense of 'I know best, I'm a better parent than you' about her. Why is it good enough for her husband to teach in a school, but her children are so special they need to be homeschooled?
