On the Hummels talk.... Andy Mitten has said for a good few weeks now that Hummels is a priority target, and the player we were furthest along in talks for, so it wouldn't surprise me if there is truth to this - Andy Mitten would be one I trust. He reiterated his confidence on Hummels last week on the PlayUp video's iirc.

Ignoring whether this particular rumour is true or not, considering Madrid can sign a Toni Kroos for circa £20 million it would be nice if we could pick up a quality bargain now and again.

The Addidas deal isnt until next year so they dont want us signing any players this year so they can get the sales for next year.

Correct. He has 3yrs left on his contract. We wouldn't get his left leg for 20m. Bayern sold Kroos now cheaply as they knew he'd leave on a free next season.
