    I think I just saw a flash of lightning now in Dublin city center.

    EDIT: Yep, followed by a right clap of thunder.

    Bit of thunder can be heard in Dublin 15 at the moment. Probably be the usual disappointing one or two claps and that's it.

    Was an almightly bang (rather than the normal rumble of thunder!) some building work across the road and thought it was gas explosion or something, never heard it so loud, must have been very close.
